The entire house is exclusively yours to enjoy during your stay and is set on private grounds. We're close to many wedding venues in Dayboro and just up the road from the township itself. With modern conveniences and all the charm of yesteryear, you'll be close to everything while feeling a million miles away. Peace and seclusion awaits. The space Our Cottage You'll find our beautifully restored, expansive three-bedroom Queenslander to be a truly indulgent and relaxing country experience. It’s the perfect retreat for a couples weekend, to prepare for your wedding with your bridesmaids (or your bride /groom to be!), or for a group to get away from the bustle of the city. Our guests thank us for the peace and serenity, the stunning views and the chance to truly get away from it all. The cottage has polished wooden floorboards, a stunning view from every window, lots of cupboard space and comfortable places to relax. The large verandah wraps around 2-sides of the cottage, and there are extensive lawns and gardens to stroll in with seats (and even a table and chairs amongst the lavender bushes) so you can sit and take in the view. Bedrooms/Linen The cottage sleeps up to 6 people. We offer three elegant bedrooms - two with Queen beds and one with twin beds. We have decorated the cottage with your style and comfort in mind, plus you’ll find our beds extra comfy, made up with quality bed linen and feather/down pillows and doonas. We offer all other linen (towels, washers and tea towels) as well. Kitchen/Catering If you like to self-cater, a fully equipped country kitchen awaits or you can use the BBQ with beautiful views on the verandah. Your friendly host Sherree can also provide delicious breakfast hampers or BBQ dinner hampers for you to cook up at your request (POA). Loungeroom/Deck You'll find plenty of spaces to relax, unwind and enjoy the 360 degree views with a lounge room and large dining table inside with views of the rolling hills (a great spot to take in the sunset!). The large deck also has a big BBQ, a daybed and two further dining areas (plus more of those views to die for). Bathroom/Lavender products Our bathroom has shower over a claw-foot bath with a view – the perfect place to soak away your cares. We offer our guests free of charge our own range of exclusive handmade, all natural, chemical-free lavender skin care and bathing products to indulge in (from face masks and scrubs to even the hand soap). Bride & Groom, Bride & Bride, and Groom & Groom Our happy couples are welcome to stay the night before their wedding either together as a couple or as a brides and bridesmaids retreat. We allow your photographers and make-up and hair team to come to you at the cottage and help you prepare for your big day. We have plenty of room for you to get ready, and many happy brides have stayed at our cottage in preparation for their weddings. For our brides and/or grooms, we provide spare linen in case the happy couple would like to stay the night before their wedding and then have their family or other wedding guests take their place at the cottage the following night. (For wedding parties requiring use of the property to get ready and photography on the wedding day, the booking must include 2 nights at the Friday and Saturday nights rates - see more details below.) Children Children are very welcome. Your host Sherree can provide a porta cot at no extra charge. Pets Please let your host know if you are bringing dogs. Pet Rules Strictly no dogs in the cottage Your dog is allowed on the verandah when you are home but not on the outdoor furniture. Please have your dog in the enclosure provided during the night and if you are away from the cottage for any period of time. Please clean up after your dog with the bags provided. If there is any evidence of your dog having been inside the cottage a cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to your credit card. If your dog is found in the cottage during your stay your accommodation will be terminated immediately and no refund supplied. Plus, a $250 cleaning fee charged to your credit card.
