Birchwood Guest Lodge - Every season a romance

This room is the last addition to our guesthouse with 8 rooms. As one can see in our photographs, a lot different to the other design. Using the space in the most open way, the shower room is only separated from the bedroom via curtain. With our very efficient MHR ventilation with air source heat pump, humidity and condensation is a relict of the past. The room is located on the ground floor and therefor accessible by everyone throughout. With clever folding mechanism one can sleep and eat. The space The guest lodge has eight en suite rooms, 7 twins and 1 double. Please refer to photographs before booking a room. Our government is about easing Covid related restrictions to almost normal standards. However, we will continue with the same cleaning/disinfecting procedures. Although wearing face masks is not mandatory any longer, we also will continue with this protective measure during the welcome meeting inside your room. Our communal kitchen is open again, following governments guidelines. The rooms are much more than a bedroom. The unique design offers a flexible space and converts from a sitting area suitable for playing games, enjoying a snack or simply relaxing with friends. For walkers arriving with wet clothes, each room features a heated drying rail and hanging area. Birchwood’s ventilation system means there’s no condensation or odours even when drying wet clothes and, better still, provides ventilation without the need to open the window…which keeps the midges at bay in the summer months! The en-suites all have spacious (100cm x 80cm) shower enclosures, a heated towel rail and electric cold and warm water tap. Each room has a hairdryer and a kettle with complimentary tea. coffee,hot chocolate.
