The studio-style cottage sports a comfortable king-sized bed with its own private, fenced yard. The kitchen is stocked for a cook with quality cooking equipment and is supplied with oils, sauces and spices. A perfect, tranquil working retreat! Inspiring, peaceful, wonderful…” A few notes: The Hot Tub: Note that the hot tub is located centrally on the property and is shared with guests staying in our guest room. That said, the hot tub is screened for a private experience. Our motto is "Wander at Will". We let our guests take the lead as far as how much contact is desired. If we are home, we happily offer a brief tour of the property once guests are settled; and we're always available in person or by cell phone if we're off property. We're in a rural neighborhood a five minute drive from the village of Guerneville. A two-mile loop walk will take you past our public tennis courts, two dog-friendly restaurants--Baked on the River and the Oxbow, as well as access to our local beach on the Russian River. There is little public transportation is Western Sonoma County. However, there is a reliable local taxi, and we're a 25 minute walk from the village of Guerneville. You will be neighbors with us as well as guests who may be staying in our guest room (at the far end of the main house). They also have access to the grounds and to the hot tub.
