Nestled in the heart of Thredbo Valley at Crackenback, Kickenback Lodge is a unique property that has been thoughtfully designed to provide guests with an unforgettable alpine experience. This property boasts individually handcrafted furniture and large windows that invite natural light and showcase the majestic alpine environment. Ideal for larger families and groups of friends, Kickenback Lodge is a combination of a two-bedroom chalet and an attached studio apartment. With two kitchens, three bathrooms (including one with disabled access), two lounge areas, Wifi, internal laundry, and a large carport, guests can spread out and enjoy their surroundings. During the winter months, guests can cozy up by the gas fireplaces after a day on the slopes, while during the summer months, they can relax and utilize the outdoor undercover BBQ areas (there are two on the property). For added comfort, there is sensor-operated air-conditioning. Crackenback is conveniently located on the Alpine Way between Thredbo and Jindabyne, with easy access to the Ski Tube. This means that getting to Perisher is just a 10-minute train ride away. Guests at Kickenback Lodge can also take advantage of the many activities available within the resort, including restaurants, a luxury spa, gym, tennis courts, indoor pool and sauna, as well as outdoor activities such as golfing, trout fishing, and Segway tours. Please note that some activities may incur additional costs. Kickenback Lodge is the perfect choice for those looking for an immersive alpine experience. Kickenback Lodge can accommodate up to 9 people and does not allow pets. Sustainability practices include: Recycling bins provided, taps and showers are water-efficient, towel reuse in place, walls and ceilings insulated, double glazed windows, green spaces on property. Guest access Access to our properties is via a door code, lockbox or key pick up from our office. You will be sent check-in details via SMS and Email on the day of your arrival when the property is ready for you. Once you have booked you will receive a copy of our digital compendium which provides information on where to arrive and what to do in the wonderful Snowy Mountains. We give our guests the space they need and are available when required. A security bond of $500 ($1,000 if the property sleeps 10 or more guests) will be processed on the day of your arrival by the managing agent. Your bank will hold these funds as a pre-authorisation and will be released back to your account 7-10 days after being processed, as long as there is no claim against your reservation (you will be informed if a claim is made). A small starter pack of detergent, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper & garbage bags are supplied to begin your visit. You will need to bring more of these items or buy locally if you are here for more than two nights. Check-in time is 4pm during Winter. We understand that this may not be ideal, but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate earlier check-ins during busy periods.
