Our property is an older cabin located in the Avant campground in Concan, Texas. We now offer Wifi and Roku TV. It's walking distance and has access to the Frio River ( approx. 3 minute walk). The walk to the river is down a small hill so it is an uphill walk back to the cabin. There is a 4% local occupancy tax that will be collected through the resolution center. The space The cabin has 3 bedrooms , 2 baths, living area and fully equipped kitchen. Due to the age of the cabin, it is not wheelchair accessible. There is a step up onto the porch, two steps going into the kitchen area, as well as a step down into bedroom one. Televisions are located in the living room and master bedroom . The addition onto the cabin is one level. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots/pans, microwave and coffee pot, trash bags and paper towels. Sorry, no dishwasher, so you might want to bring paper goods if you don't want to wash dishes. We furnish bed linens, pillows, towels, and toilet tissue, hand soap but NO bath soap. Guests are responsible for bringing their own beach towels, tubes, and lawn chairs to take to the river. Guest access Guests have access to the cabin and front yard area. Other things to note It's an approximate 3 minute walk to our river access. Go down the hill and to the right. Follow the short paved road to the white boulders and black pedestrian gate marked “Avant” and follow the fence down to the river. We can't take a vehicle in the park but you can drive your things, people, etc down to the river and take the vehicle back to the cabin .It's a great place to sit in the river and people watch. Also a great place for the kids to play.
