Located in Durie Vale Road a unique sheltered microclimate with peaceful park like surrounds, country views and abundant birdlife all within easy walking distance of the river, town and main attractions including Saturday markets, i-site, cafes and restaurants. Enjoy breakfast with the birds or evening barbeques on the sunny North facing balcony or decks. Having recently been completely renovated both inside and out this bright, fresh, warm cosy three bedroomed home features a new kitchen, laundry and bathroom; retaining the original gloriously deep bathtub, just perfect for lengthy soaks. Tastefully decorated with all new carpert, modern furniture, electronics, appliances and contemporary décor. Original works of Art from some of Wanganui's finest artists are on display. Treat yourself to a range of complimentary eco-friendly toiletries, organic teas, hot chocolate, organic milk and coffees from the Nespresso machine. Entertain yourself with 65+ channels of Sky TV (movies and sports included) on the large screen TV, Netflix, or watch a DVD or listen to your favourite music on the entertainment system with ipod doc. Unlimited use of ultra-fast cable broadband / wifi. Retire into luxurious beds featuring luxury hotel linen, electric blankets, duvets and mattress underlays. Infants are catered for with a complimentary porta-cot, high chair, and stroller/pram available upon request. Fully fenced front and back sections with ample room for outside play. A children's playground is just up the road and for those wet days a fully stocked toy cupboard. Dependent upon the season spray free fruits, herbs and vegetables may be collected from the gardens for use during your stay. Well behaved pets by arrangement, please inquire about our pet policy. Plenty of safe on street parking is available. Please note that due to the steep driveway and steps into the house this property is not suitable for mobility impaired guests. Guest access Fully self contained three bedroomed house and gardens entirely to yourselves. Keys will be made available upon arrival. Check in after 2pm. Check out 10am. Other things to note Parking is on the street and requires guests to walk down a sloped (15 degree incline) driveway for approximately 10 metres. If being able to park right outside a doorway is important to you then this house will not suit your requirements. Whilst not really suitable for mobility impaired guests due to the two steps into the porch for guests who believe they will be unable to walk down the short sloped driveway we can given adequate notice arrange for flat parking and access outside the entrance way with the neighbouring property.
