Grace Cottage is a nineteenth-century property in Porlock, sleeping four across two upstairs bedrooms, one double and one twin, with a single bathroom featuring a powerful shower over the bath and a modern towel rail. The downstairs was remodelled to create a spacious, light-filled open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, and the current owners have since added a new kitchen with modern facilities, a log burner in the sitting room, and new beds and linen throughout. The space The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, along with a toaster, kettle and a full range of utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. The living room has a modern HD TV with sound bar and DVD player, Chromecast connectivity, and free wifi. Electricity and heating are included in the price, with effective electric storage heaters and 100% renewable electricity. Wood and kindling for two fires are provided for the log burner, with additional logs available to purchase locally. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are all provided, along with a small starter supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits and basic store cupboard items. The cottage is accessed via a private, enclosed front courtyard with outside seating, tucked away in a peaceful spot behind the historic church. Two allocated off-road parking spaces are available a short walk from the cottage, behind the garage on the High Street. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, up to a maximum of two, for a supplement of GBP 15 per dog; they must stay downstairs, where a door at the bottom of the stairs helps keep them contained, and must not be left alone in the property. Grace Cottage is strictly non-smoking and is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 10am.
