On the Sand: Authentic Sicilian Beach Escape

In this beachfront house, life slows down: you can cook outdoors on a veranda decorated with authentic ceramics from Santo Stefano di Camastra and dine on the terrace watching the outline of the Aeolian Islands as the sun sets. An authentic and quiet refuge, away from the chaos, where the only commitment will be to choose whether to relax in the shade of the white veranda or take a walk to touch the sea. The space The heart of the house: the large terrace overlooking the sea The real strength of this home is the outdoor space, designed to fully experience the authenticity of a house by the sea. The large terrace is divided into two souls: a solarium facing the sea, furnished with sofas to relax in the sun and admire the sunset that plunges behind the archipelago of the Aeolian Islands, and an area covered by a white wooden canopy, ideal for lunch in the shade with the sea on the horizon. Guests have access to a charming outdoor kitchen finished with ceramics from Santo Stefano di Camastra, perfect for preparing outdoor meals, as well as a two-burner induction hob located inside. Access to the property is via a large independent driveway entrance (currently being finished). From here, scenic lava stone stairs lead to the main entrance. Next to the stairs you will find a convenient outdoor ceramic shower, ideal for cooling off and rinsing off the salt after a day at the beach. The interiors The accommodation is cozy and functional, consisting of: Master bedroom: a spacious bedroom with a double bed and an additional single bed. It includes a very large wardrobe and a private bathroom (windowed, complete with toilet, bidet and sink). Second bedroom: a more intimate room, equipped with two single beds and a large wardrobe. Living area: a versatile space that includes a dining table and a kitchen equipped with an induction hob. The single sofa bed can be opened to become a comfortable double bed. Main bathroom: bright and windowed, equipped with shower, toilet, bidet and sink. _____________________________________________ The Heart of the Home: A Terrace Overlooking the Sea The highlight of this property is undoubtedly its expansive outdoor space, designed to embrace the Sicilian lifestyle. The large terrace features two distinct areas: a seafront solarium, furnished with lounge sofas perfect for soaking up the sun while waiting for the spectacular sunset over the Aeolian Islands, and a shaded area under a white wooden pergola, ideal for al fresco dining with a constant sea view. Guests can enjoy an atmospheric outdoor kitchen finished with traditional Santo Stefano di Camastra ceramics, perfect for cooking in the sea breeze, complemented by an indoor two-burner induction hob. The property is accessed via a large, private driveway (currently undergoing final renovations). From here, striking lava stone stairs lead to the main entrance. Next to the stairs, you will find a convenient ceramic-tiled outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off the salt and sand after a day at the beach. Interior Layout The interiors are welcoming and practical, consisting of: Master Bedroom: A spacious room with a double bed and an additional single bed. It includes a very large wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom (brightly lit with a window, including toilet, bidet, and sink). Second Bedroom: A cozy room equipped with two single beds and a large wardrobe. Living Area: A versatile space featuring a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with an induction stovetop. The single sofa bed can be opened to become a comfortable double bed. Main Bathroom: A bright, windowed bathroom featuring a shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. Guest access Guests have full access to all outdoor spaces of the property. We would like to point out that the driveway entrance area and the olive grove are currently undergoing a restyling aimed at improving their aesthetics (as shown in the photo). This does not preclude the use of the spaces, but the appearance of the gravel and the garden could be rustic. The interiors are complete and entirely at your disposal. ____________________________- Guests are welcome to enjoy all outdoor areas. Please note that the driveway and the olive grove are currently undergoing renovation to enhance their beauty (please refer to the photos). While these areas might still have a rustic look, the villa's interiors are fully finished and accessible for your stay. Other things to note IMPORTANT: The villa can be reached by crossing a dirt road that runs along the beach. The road is quite disconnected, it has some holes so I recommend going slowly. With a slightly high car, there are no problems. We have a Panda and we pass very quietly. Another important note. You have to be careful when the stairs are wet because you risk slipping. ____________________________ Important Arrival & Safety Tips Getting here: The villa is accessible via an unpaved coastal road along the beach. This road is a bit uneven and has some bumps, so we recommend driving slowly. It is perfectly manageable with standard cars (we use a Fiat Panda regularly with no issues), but please take extra care if you are driving a vehicle with very low clearance.
