The kitchen consists of modern stainless steel appliances, a stylish breakfast counter and is fully equipped and stocked with a variety of condiments for those who want to cook in. A nespresso coffee machine is available for use but the cafe at ground level makes really awesome coffee :) The bathroom is modern with towels and toiletries provided. The reverse cycle air conditioner ensures that the property is warm in winter and cool in summer. There is a 'smart' TV with netflix and other streaming providers accessible through your own account. There is also unlimited wifi. The unit has elegant timber flooring and the living area flows out onto the spacious courtyard perfect for relaxing and enjoying in the day or at night time. The bedrooms are carpeted and equipped with built in robes. Good quality linen is supplied and the mattresses are very supportive and comfortable. The master has a king sized bed and a door linking it to the bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a door and view onto the courtyard. A fold up full sized single bed with a slatted base, foam mattress, linen and pillow is available for an additional $25/night. A travel cot (no linen supplied) is available at an additional cost of $10/night - please advise if any is required as it is not supplied as a standard inclusion. The best part of all is that you are in the heart of all the action. There is excellent shopping on Clarendon St, and the wonderful Sth Melbourne market has all sorts of specialities (it is much better than the Vic in my opinion). The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic centre is in walking distance with a range of sporting facilities on offer. The MCG, Etihad Stadium and Rod Laver arena can be accessed by public transport and are only 3kms away. Likewise the Arts centre, museum, Hamer Hall, and Australian Ballet company venues are in close proximity. There are three tram routes that can take you to the CBD, Federation square, Southbank, Docklands, or alternatively visit the scene at St Kilda with the iconic Luna Park and beach and bike trails, or even check out fabulous Richmond with lots of factory outlets for shopping. You have access to so much but it is in a private tranquil setting without the hustle and bustle and noise of the city scene. The hardest part of your stay will be deciding where to go, what to eat and drink and how you want to be entertained. Melbourne is such a fun and fab city.
