Description
Ramond is a little piece of secluded heaven in SW France. Unmatched in the area for privacy, you will not wish to leave this well-equipped retreat. Surrounded by orchards & vineyards, the heated pool (open May - Oct) is the heart of this home. With 4 ensuite double bedrooms, and flexible children's beds (3 triple bunks and mezzanine twin), a games barn & gym - this home is ideal for 4 families. The region is renowned for wine, sunflowers, prunes, foie gras and rivers. Plenty to explore....enjoy! The space Ramond has been lovingly restored by the current owners and consists of 2 barn conversions linked together. Closest to the pool (open May- Oct) at the rear of the property is the imposing fireplace living room, farmhouse kitchen and 3 bedrooms. 2 adult ensuites are upstairs, and downstairs is the fun children's triple bunk room (sleeps 4). Nearby is the downstairs shower room & utility room. On the other side of the property is the "West Wing", which can also accommodate 2 families. Again, there are 2 adult ensuites, and a bunk room with an ensuite/shared bathroom. Up the spiral staircase is the mezzanine level, which can be set up as either a twin or a King room. There is also an impressive living room, with access to a patio and a large kitchen and utility room. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Guest access In addition to the living spaces, we have a large games barn (TV, DVD, games console, table tennis, table football, snooker/pool & darts) and also an air-conditioned gym. As well as the main heated pool (open May - Oct) the outside amenities also include a large trampoline, tyre swing, swing set, football net, basketball net and croquet. There are also plenty of boardgames/puzzles/books/Netflix/Amazon Video/wifi to keep kids amused inside if required!
