The space Kyanon House and Apartment is located in the secluded, quiet neighborhood of Agios Mathaios ( St. Mathews). The house is built on a hillside, in a cluster of pines and evergreens with unencumbered views of the Cretan sea and the old Venetian harbor of Chania. The apartment is located on the lower level of the villa and is accessed by a private entrance. A staircase leads you to a large patio with private infinity pool and hydro massage. The pool level is surrounded by a built in couch and overstufffed loungers as well as an outdoor shower. A secluded lawn area surrounded by oleanders and furnished with sun loungers and outdoor dining furniture can be reached by further stone steps. The property also includes fruit trees and a vegetable garden that guests are welcome to share. Kyanon apartment has an airy, open plan living room/kitchen and dining area with bay windows designed to embrace the stunning views of the sea and the grounds. It is decorated in an eclectic mix of contemporary furnishings, using natural materials and a muted palette to make the indoors comfortable, relaxing and warm so that guests can make the most of their vacation all year round. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped and also features a butler’s pantry that guests may find useful for their culinary and storage needs. - Green Bedroom A queen size bed with hypoallergenic matress topper and high thread-count linens, faces bay windows that overlook the pool and breathtaking views of Chania and the Cretan Sea. It is furnished with writing desk and overstuffed chair and features built-in closet, A/C and black out blinds. - Blue Bedroom A California king size bed that can easily become two single beds, faces the patio area and is the most quiet of the bedrooms. It features an ottoman and open clothing rack and its own en suite marble bathroom. It also features central heating,A/C units and Venetian blinds. -Bathroom 1 Fully equipped bathroom with bathtub and shower head, featuring plush towels and bathrobes and all shower essentials. - En suite Bathroom Newly constructed white marble bathroom consisting of walk- in waterfall shower and wall to wall marble counter top, bathrobes and all shower essentials are included as well. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the lower level patio and exclusive use of the pool area as well the apartment itself. They will share the main gate entrance and upper level of the property's private parking with the host's family. They will also be sharing access to the lower ground level vegetable garden and fruit trees. Other things to note -To welcome you to Kyanon, all guests are greeted at check-in with a complementary welcome basket with our own cold pressed olive oil, wine, cheese ,cookies. -Kitchen staples such as coffee, tea, thyme honey and sugar are also included. They were specifically designed to maximize the views from the infinity pool and the hill. There are no gates or barriers surrounding the pool and there is a steep drop between outdoor levels. Toddlers and young children should be chaperoned at all times outdoors.
