Borth-y-Gest, quirky cottage close to coastal path

Hen Gegin is a recently renovated 18th century “out kitchen” to our main farmhouse. The cottage is ideal for a couple, is separate from our house and completely self contained with a space for parking right outside on our drive. The area is quiet and very beautiful with only a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Borth-y-Gest and Morfa Bychan. Situated between Snowdonia (Eryri) and the Llyn peninsula there is so much to explore in the area. EV charging available, please contact us for charges The space The stylish mezzanine bedroom has a comfy king size bed with all cotton bedding and feather pillows and duvet. (Alternative bedding by request) There's plenty of storage for clothes and hangers. The kitchen has all the cooking equipment you'll need along with a full size electric cooker and hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. Washing up liquid, tea towels etc are provided. The downstairs bathroom has a large modern electric shower (no bath) a basin and toilet. Soap and shower gel is provided as are all towels. Beach towels are not provided. In the sitting room, there is comfy sofa in front of the log burner which is cosy after a long day out and there's a table and chairs as well as a breakfast bar. The smart TV has iplayer and Netflix. Outside there is a private seating area and garden with table and chairs for you to relax, also a fire pit where you can burn logs at no charge from our log store. If you have bikes you can lock them to our covered outside log store. Parking is on the drive, close to your cottage. If you have an elecric vehicle then you're welcome to use our 7.5kw charger, contact us for rates. Guest access There are a few steps down to the cottage front door. Your garden/sitting area with chairs and a table is opposite the cottage's front door. There are a few slate steps leading up to it from the drive. Other things to note Sorry no dogs allowed.
