Spacious 2 bedroom, garden view, quiet, carre d'Or

My spacious, 180 sq meter apartment is bright, charming and quiet. It overlooks a mediterranean garden and private courtyard. It's has a modern kitchen, high ceilings, double sided windows, hard wood floors, air-con, plus all you need for a pleasurable stay. It has 2 master bedrooms, each with its own private bath/shower and toilet. The space My flat is in the center of Nice, they call it the golden quarter. It has 2 master bedrooms, each with its own private bath/shower and toilet. The bedrooms are spacious, quiet and overlook a quiet courtyard. The neighborhood is great, it’s four blocks to the beach, two blocks to the historical center and the Promenade du Paillon; made up of fountains, gardens and a play park for children. The neighborhood has everything from movies, theaters, restaurants, bars, shops, markets, museums, galleries and more. The train station and bus terminal to travel around the Riviera, is also just a few blocks away. Place Massena, condsidered Nice center, is 3 blocks away, where most festivities happen; the Jazz Festival, Carnival, outdoor concerts and more. The NEW TRAM comes straight to my place from the airport, the stop is called Jean Medecin. Guest access The apartment has 2 entrances: - one private direct entrance to the flat, like a house, off Gustave Deloye. This entrance is for short term stays. - and for long term stays (one month or more) you'll be using the main entrance through the garden. Garbage is taken out through the main entrance for everyone. You just go out that front door, immediate left, through another door, take a few steps down and you're in the courtyard. The garbage bins are to your right, in a shed, in the parking courtyard. Concerning the flat: - Please close all doors and windows when you leave the apartment. - Please always lock the main entrance door coming in and going. - When doing laundry please empty the water collector, top left, it pulls out.  Clean the 2 lint catchers, they pull upwards & are on the door of the dryer. - Garbage can be put out every night at 7 pm. - Stove top: Hold down to get the red button, press plus or minus till you obtain the right temperature. If ever the lock (far right corner) goes on just push for 30 seconds and it will turn off. Please do not use an abrasive sponge on the stove top (use Vitro Ceramic creme to clean).  - Air conditioning - Just aim the beeper/thermostat at the air conditioning, not too far away, and press the orange button. Please don't leave them all day if you are not home. They cool down or heat up quickly. Other things to note Welcome to Luisa Maisel's - 8 bis Gustave Deloye 06000 NIce Just a few food tips: - Monoprix: on Jean Medecin, walk 3 blocks north. - Casino: conveniency store, behind Nice Etoile, shopping mall on the corner.  - Bakery: behind Nice Etoile, right next to Casino.  - Chez Paul Bakery - on Victor Hugo, just cross the tram street it's on the left. Outdoor farmers markets: - Marche Liberation: farmers market, 2 tram stops north. Open everyday but monday. - Cours Saleya: Picturesque market. Monday mornings the antique and flower market till 1 pm. Summer months there's an art market at night. Outdoor restaurants, cafe's & bars. The old quarter & beach are right there. Restaurants: You will need to reserve! - Le Comptoir de Marche - 8 Rue du Marché - Le Bistrot d'Antoine - 27 Rue de la Préfecture - Le Bar des Oiseaux - 5 Rue Saint-Vincent - L'Atelier du Port - 45 rue Bonaparte - Le Comptoir Central Electrique - 10 rue Bonaparte - Le Safari - Cours Saleya Visiting around: - Tourist office is near 'Theatre de Verdure', right off the beach . - You must visit the Coulee Vert near the the fountains off Place Massena. - Old City & the Château: belvedere view, park and ruins. - Garibaldi & Port : up & coming quarter. Antique fairs on weekends sometimes. - St Jean Cap Ferrat, Monaco, Villefranche, Eze, Biot, Antibes, Cannes etc.. all super easy to get to by train or bus.  - Tram: buy a single or multiple ride coupons, machine is at the stop. - Modern Art Museum is at the end of the coulee vert, going east. 10 min walk. - Chagall Museum just take the 15 bus, right outside my door, 10 min.  - Matisse Museum is just a few stops further.  Parking: - Park at Nice Etoile parking lot. Daily & weekly rates. - The buses to visit the neighboring villages are frequent and cheap. Just some advice concerning the flat: - Please close all doors and windows when you leave the apartment. - When doing laundry please empty the water collector, top left, it pulls out & clean the lint catcher, it pulls upwards & is on the door of the dryer. - Garbage can be put out every night at 7 pm. - Stove top: Hold down to get the red button, press on plus or minus to right temperature. If ever the lock goes on just put finger there for 30 seconds and it will turn off. Please do not use an abrasive sponge on the stove top. - Air conditioning - Just aim the beeper/thermostat at the air conditioning, not too far away, and press the orange button. If you are too far away it might not turn it on. There's an arrow for colder/warmer etc. Please don't leave them all day if you are not home. They do cool down or heat up very quickly. Enjoy!
