Here's what our Villa is like: 🌳 Your Arrival: You'll drive in through a nice stone gate and see the beautiful gardens! It’s a really peaceful spot, and the fresh air and views hit you straight away. We love it. 🏡 Downstairs - Living & Eating: • Open and Bright: Inside, the main living and dining area is all open-plan with high ceilings and big windows that let in lots of natural light. Our guests often say how spacious it feels. • 🛋️ Comfy Seating: The leather sofas are great for relaxing after a day out, and you get some really nice views of Geneva from there too. • 🍽️ Kitchen & Dining: The dining table seats 8 comfortably. The kitchen is right there and has all you need – a good oven, stove, dishwasher, a decent-sized fridge/freezer, and of course, a Nespresso machine for your morning coffee! There's also a handy little washroom on this floor. • 🪴 Out to the Terrace: Doors open right onto the terrace and garden. 🛌 Upstairs - Bedrooms & Bathrooms: • You'll find three good-sized bedrooms upstairs. They've all got built-in wardrobes, so there's plenty of space to unpack and settle in. • There are two bathrooms with 2 baths up here as well, which is really handy. 📺 Top Floor - Our Cozy TV Room / Bonus Space: • Right at the top of the house is a cozy TV room. It's got skylights, and you get a great view of Mont Salève. • It’s a nice extra space with a TV (Netflix, Apple TV, and some international channels are hooked up). Some of our guests working from here have even used the color printer we have. • It has a comfortable sofa bed with sleeps and extra 2 guests ☀️ Outside Space & Those Views! • The terrace is a good size. We’ve got a table, chairs, and a barbecue (BBQ) out there – perfect for eating outside or just having a drink and enjoying the view. • And the views are pretty special – you can see right over to Geneva (sometimes even the fountain!) and Mont Salève. It's a lovely backdrop. 🛠️ Keeping Comfy & Other Bits: • We've got heating throughout for the cooler months and shutters on the windows, so you should be comfortable whatever the season. • There’s a utility room with the washing machine, dryer and extra freezer, which is really useful for longer stays. • We try to keep everything well-maintained and a bit homey. It's not super fancy, but it's clean, comfortable, and has good quality, reliable appliances. ✨ We think it’s a great spot – feels like a peaceful country escape, but you're still super close to Geneva and the airport. It's been a great base for people working in the city for a few months at a time. Guest access The entire house, front and back garden, terrace, parking and common areas with additional gardens, restaurant and walking tracks are available to guests. Other things to note EXPATS- Many people coming to Geneva for work end up living in one of the small French towns like Bossey across the border rather than in the city itself. This is mainly due to the extremely high cost of apartments, strict lease conditions, and a lack of living space in Geneva.
