【Bairin-an】 Perfect for 2 in Kiyomizu

We are licensed accommodation with government of Kyoto city. The house has passed safety fire inspection of fire department. This house is located in at the foot of Kiyomizu temple. It is easy to visit many temples on foot and also Gion is only 15 minute walking distance. You will enjoy the traditional atmosphere in Kyoto. Bedroom:1 tatami room/ 3 Futons Kitchen: IH/ Fridge/ Microwave/ Nespresso/ Dining table/ TV Bathroom: Toilet/ Shower room/ Hairdryer/ Washing machine/ Dryer/ Slippers The space Bairin-an is at the foot of Kiyomizu Temple, and is very convenient for short walks to many other famous temples, shrines, downtown Gion area, the most famous Geiko district! The house is a traditional wooden house with modern equipment! This Birin-an: a unit fitted out into a house divided into three houses. These three were big one traditional house and we divided into three adjoining houses. You don't share any rooms with the guest stays at next property. If you would like a rice cooker, please make a reservation in advance. ※ The ceiling is low because it is an old building. If you are tall, be careful. Guest access ・Check in time is 4 PM to 8 PM. We are waiting at our house to welcom you. ※If you will arrive later than 8 pm, please message and tell us in advance. In that case, we will ask you to do self-check in and visit you next day to finish check in procedure. Leaving luggage before check in time (after 11:30 am) is available, please feel free to ask us if you need it. Other things to note OWNER MESSAGE: I thought it could be so nice to preserve this townhouse and make our guests even for few days to live as Kyoto people lived for centuries with traditions plus a more today comfort in the daily house use. ※ When you check in, please pay accommodation tax of Kyoto government. This accommodation tax is not included in rental cost of the house. Please pay by cash. The tax fee is depends on how much you payed for your rental cost. If your rental cost is under 20000 JPY per person per night, the tax is 200 JPY per person per night. (EX) If you are 3 people and you stay 3 nights, the accommodation tax will be 200 JPY × 3 people × 3 nights = 1800 JPY If your rental cost is 20000 JPY to 49,999 JPY per person per night, the tax is 500 JPY per person per night. (EX) If you are 2 people and you stay 2 nights, the accommodation tax will be 500 JPY × 2 people × 2 nights = 2000 JPY ※No smoking inside of the house, outside of the house and the garden. Please smoke at convenient stores. ※Please be quiet after 10 PM and early morning. ※Please let us know the number of people correctly. If the number of people is different from the number you actually book with, we will charge you extra. Person not registrated for accommodation must refrain from staying overnight in the room. ※When you check in, please fill in a registration form and we will scan your passport. The Japanese Government is requiring “foreign nationals who do not possess an address in Japan” to provide their ＊nationality and ＊passport number in addition to their ＊name, ＊address, and ＊occupation, etc. and produce and make a copy of their passport upon checking in at lodgings.
