Charming log cabin with a wealth of character and charm in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The space Situated in extensive grounds in a peaceful forest setting, overlooking lovely burn and a short walk from the loch shore. PLEASE NOTE: CONSTRUCTION WORK (NEW CABIN) WILL BE IN PROGRESS ADJACENT TO BURNSIDE CABIN UP TO END OF AUGUST 2026. PRICES HAVE BEEN ADJUSTED ACCORDINGLY. Cabin has a Scandinavian style, wood fired hot tub that is available for guest's use at an extra £102 per stay. The accommodation sleeps 4 & consists of open plan Lounge, dining area and kitchen, double bedroom, bunk room and family shower room. The lounge / dining area has a high vaulted ceiling, Satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV and DVD), free wi-fi, three seater sofa, easy chairs, dining table for 6 and a lovely wood burning stove. The front elevation is mainly glazed, to maximize the views over burn, with French windows opening onto a raised veranda area. The kitchen area is well equipped, with cooker, fridge / freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery. Shower room is tastefully finished and has electric shower, wash basin, toilet and shaver point. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet. Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture, a BBQ / fire pit area and ample grounds. The cabin provides privacy and is a short walk from Dalavich village. The cabin is timber lined throughout, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and suitable for year round use. It provides a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm and feel of a true log cabin in the forest. PLEASE NOTE: Use of hot tub is charged at an additional £102 / stay to advertised rental rates & includes 3 bags of logs. Please confirm if this is required when booking. Additional logs can be purchased from our House Keeper. Dogs are welcome at £20 each / stay. All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. This is a non smoking cabin. THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS WE CAN ACCOMMODATE (INCLUDING INFANTS) IS FOUR. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOUR PARTY (INC INFANTS) IS MORE THAN THIS, AS WE WILL BE UNABLE TO ACCEPT SAID BOOKING & WILL NEED TO CANCEL SUCH. Guest access Guests have full, exclusive access to the accommodation and owners possessions therein. Treat the cabin as it were your own, just replace anything you use on departure please. Other things to note To comply with Scottish Short Term Letting regulations we will need full name, address, email address and telephone number of booker / party leader. This will be requested shortly after booking, so please be prepared to provide such. The tourist attractions in the area are to numerous to list but there's something for everyone.
