ACCESSIBLE FROM THE MAINLAND BY PRIVATE BOAT OR WATER TAXI ONLY, Sth Stradbroke Island is the Gold Coast's best kept secret. It has kilometres of beach, pristine white sand dunes, rainforests and wetlands, abundant wildlife. Beached At Straddie is located right on a sandy beach canal with its own pontoon and has all the amenities to make it your home away from home. Open plan living area, 4 comfortable bedrooms, smart TV and a BBQ deck area overlooking the water. Please note there is no WIFI The space Fully equipped kitchen and all linen and bath towels provided. BYO beach towels. House must be left tidy. A $150 cleaning fee will be charged per stay. Cars are not able to be transported to the island. All transport on island is by bike, kayak or foot. Island is accessible only by boat (either privately owned or water taxi). Sandy beach canal and private pontoon to moor your boat, sip an afternoon cocktail, or enjoy some fishing. Smart TV's with netflix capability (wifi is not available at this stage - you will need mobile wifi or hotspot). Main bedroom features ensuite. 4th bedroom can be used as a kid's retreat with sofa bed and smart TV. We have a double and single kayak available for use, along with multiple bikes. The surf beach is approximately 20-30 minutes walk along a bush track. Guest access Entire house. No guest access to garage. Some cupboards are locked off for owner use Other things to note There are no shops at the island- bring all provisioning. Water is treated bore water but the kitchen tap and fridge have filters and that water is fine to drink. We have starlink internet. Wifi details and password will be forwarded automatically prior to check in. There is no car or ferry access to the island. Private boat or water taxi only.
