Description
Located on a 1500 acre sheep farm with 5000 merino sheep producing quality wool for the world, you may even hear the baby lambs chatting to their mums. Enjoy the continental breakfast in your large living room or out on the patio with awesome views of the garden, red gums and Mount Sturgeon. The space Homestead Guest Suite Enjoy the privacy of your own spacious guest suite in our 150-year-old homestead. The only shared feature is one wall that adjoins your living room to ours (we’re a quiet couple in our 60s). I little noise may be heard from the living rooms; however the bedroom is quiet when the door is closed. Step into a large, comfortable living room furnished with a couch, TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, and basic crockery and cutlery. Please note there are no cooking facilities or kitchen sink. The suite continues through to a generous bedroom with a king-size bed and a private ensuite bathroom (shower, basin, and toilet). As we are not on mains water, the shower runs on limited, low-pressure rainwater—short showers are appreciated to ensure enough water for everyone. While the building is old, it is clean, tidy, and ready for your stay. You’ll also meet our two friendly dogs, who love greeting new guests. We generally prefer single-night stays and look forward to welcoming you. Other things to note Your living space is entirely your own. It is lockable. Your B&B's living room is on one side of a joining wall and our living room is on the other. All other rooms have no-one on the other side of the wall so it is peaceful whilst sleeping. As SuperHosts, our guests understand how staying on a working farm is different from other places..... most of the time this is a quiet place to stay with birds telling their stories and lambs chatting with their mums and each other. We have 2 working sheep dog, so if you don't like dogs, this is not the place for you. Occasionally they bark at night, they are usually telling the foxes to keep away from the lambs. Our farmers generally start their day around 8 am and try their best to keep noise to a minimum. This farm only has rain water in tanks. The water is suitable for drinking however we also supply commercial water if you prefer. All of our guests are asked to use water saving methods like short showers, turning the tap off whilst washing your teeth, etc. Hot water is turned on from 7 - 10 morning and night. Please remember that even SuperHosts are human. If I have forgotten something or you need something...please let me know. Our intention is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks
