Charming house of 2,000 sqm large private lake plot with stunning lake view. The house is located on an island with buildings from the turn of the century. Large lovely garden. Large terrace in the south with barbecue and dining table. Big lovely grassy areas for playing. Breakfast is best enjoyed on the kitchen terrace with sunrise and sea views, if you like, after your morning swim from your own jetty. At the desk, you can write your diary, your memoirs, or put puzzles. The space Lilla Stenkulla belongs to Stenkulla Gård together with Villa Stenkulla, but is located on its own plot of 2.000 sqm. Villa Stenkulla has been featured in Sköna Hem, House & Antiques as well as Hyttemagasinet. Lilla Stenkulla is easily accessible by Vaxholm boats operating the island 10 times/day in each direction. It takes 10 min to Vaxholm and 1 hour to central Stockholm. There are also boat taxi companies in Vaxholm. Car parking is available. Vaxholm, the capital of the archipelago, has a lot of history, not least with Vaxholm Fortress, as well as picturesque buildings with alleys and cozy shops. In Vaxholm there are about 20 restaurants, pharmacy, grocery stores, cafes, fresh fish, liquor stores, bakeries with fresh bread, cinema, ATM and lots of glass places! Within 20 minutes by own or taxi boat there are another 10 restaurants with sea locations. From Vaxholm you can easily take a Vaxholm boat further out in the archipelago. From Arlanda it takes 45 min. The island of Stegesund is classified as national cultural-historical because of all the turn-of-the-century wholesale villas and Stenkulla is classified as extra interesting. On the car-free island there is a graveled road perfect for the jogging run or why not a game on the tennis court. In Vaxholm there is a golf course, canoe and bike rental, etc., and Catch & Relax offers guided fishing trips from the island. All bed linens and towels are included. Smoking not allowed. About Johan Stenkulla Gård has been in the ownership of the Johan Nordquist family since 2002 and has been gradually upgraded and renovated to the gem it is today. Easter, midsummer, birthdays are celebrated here. Countless summer lunches have been held with family and friends. Johan is self-employed, married, with six children and lives in central Stockholm.
