Very Peaceful rural village location in South Cotswolds. 18th Century cottage with private garden and parking. Close to many places of interests, quaint villages, great walks and country pubs with open fires. Great for some R&R as night time is virtually silent and as we do not face directly down the Stroud valley we are luck enough to enjoy very little light pollution . Stroud and Cirencester have farmers markets, independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Cotswold water park is 25 mins drive The space The interior has been designed and decorated to reduce stress and anxiety and promote feelings of wellbeing and calm. Bespoke pieces of furniture and artwork add interest and the cottage is bursting with character features, the layout includes: One bright lounge with views over garden and valleys, inglenook fireplace and log burner, flat screen TV, DVD player and library. Beams and wooden floor. Separate ambient cosy dining room with dining for four people, large french dresser with antique china, beams and wooden floor plus blue tooth speaker. The kitchen has a large cooking range ( double oven), Belfast sink, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and under counter freezer. Electric kettle, coffee pod machine. Breakfast bar area with two bar stools, window seat with countryside views. Very well equipped kitchen with many extras including Picnic Hamper and blanket. Iron and ironing board. There are two large bedrooms upstairs both with beautiful A framed high beam ceilings and fireplaces. Both bedrooms have gorgeous countryside views over the golden valley. Ample storage space in bedrooms which is solely for guest use. The bathroom is on the same floor as the bedrooms is of a good size and has both a bath with overhead shower and a walk in shower. The cottage is furnished with good quality furniture and antiques. All soft linens are high quality cotton and laundry/cleaning cost are included in the advertised price. Any guest have sole use of a front lawned garden with terrace /patio and outside dining for four. This also includes four sun-loungers. Free high speed WiFi and good mobile signal. Cards, books and board games. Guest access One allocated car parking space directly by the property , other parking is available very close by on public road. Please inform us if you intend to bring a second car. Other things to note As we have taken time to choose nice fixture and fittings and provide a relaxing and comfortable environment for your holiday please ensure you respect this and take diligence and care to limit any damages. We do request guest to remove any rubbish/refuse from the house to the outside area on departure, ensure any crockery is washed and put back in cupboards and surfaces and floors are clear of foodwaste/litter. IMPORTANT - for the benefits of other guests we would really appreciate that any strong smelling foods such as fried foods, curries and chillies etc are not cooked on the night before your departure as quite often we have same day changes and we do not have time to air the property fully. Please note that we can NOT accept bookings for 3 children, we do not have the adequate beds or furnishings for 5 people - we happily accept a maximum of 2 children AND 2 infants ( under the age of three) who can sleep in provided travel cots and high chairs.
