Orton Hall is a Grade II Listed 17th century mansion standing in 6 acres of mature parkland with woods within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. On the southern edge of Orton, a delightful village nestling in the folds of the surrounding fells. Buckingham is a delightful, one bedroom, first floor, self catering apartment for two adults (+ child on single size mattress).It is quietly located overlooking the front garden. With a large sitting room , and bedroom , both with views over the garden. The space A lovely one bedroom self contained first floor apartment at the front of this grand house,with 4k TV, WiFi and Blu ray player. The kitchen is well equipped with full sized fridge / freezer, microwave, cooker and dishwasher. The bedroom has a comfy king-size (5ft) bed as well as another TV. The bathroom is complete with full size bath with electric shower over, shaver point and heated towel rail. Guest access The front and side gardens as well as the woodlands are open to all guests. Other things to note Electric cars cannot be charged at the hall. There is electric vehicle charging available at Tebay services approximately 2 miles away. However we allow guests to use £5 per day and only charge after this limit has been exceeded. This covers more than 90% of bookings Storage heating is included in the winter rental price. Bedding and towels are provided for two guests using the main bedroom. additional guests may be accommodated on a folding bed in the living room but we can only provide a duvet for this, no bedding.
