Mountain River House (On Delatite River)

The house has 5 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms and is situated on the banks of the Delatite River, Merrijig. 10 minutes drive to Mt Buller National Park gates. A perfect year-round holiday destination, great for skiing and in warmer months swimming, mountain bike riding, cycling and fishing. The property is surrounded by beautiful native and fruit trees, wildlife such as possum, deer, parrots and wombats. A great location for fishing (10mtr away to river), really is no need to go anywhere! The space The house is setup for a maximum of 13 guests. Five bedrooms, 2 bathroom (including laundry) . A huge living, dining and kitchen. The wood fire heater in the living room heats the living spaces very quickly and the double glazing keeps the house snug all through the night and cool in the summer. All bedrooms have their own wall heaters and all beds have quality Australian Woollen doonas. Includes air conditioner / heater in the living areas. All linen/sheets and towels included in the rental price. Bedroom 1: 1 King Size bed and built in wardrobe Bedroom 2: 1 Queen size bed and built in wardrobe Bedroom 3: 1 x King Size bed (has access to new bathroom) and a wardrobe Bedroom 4: 2 x king Single Beds Bedroom 5: Setup for 5 guests with extra room to play, 2 x King single bunks, 1xsingle trundle, includes DVD, TV, bean bags and toys. Large Brand New Bathroom: 1 bath, seperate shower and basin, toilet. Second Bathroom: New with shower, toilet, basin, laundry (washer and dryer). Can be used as ensuite to bedroom 3. Kitchen: Dishwasher, coffee maker, 4 slice toaster, kettle, microwave, induction top oven. Pantry. Food processor, blender. Iron. Lounge / Dining: Wood heater, TV and DVD, board games. Air conditioner / heater in main room. Outside: Many beautiful trees (apples, pears, walnut, hazelnuts, ..). There is a fire pit on the river for the kids to have their marshmallows!. An outside dining table also exists and BBQ, and kids Tree Swing and trampoline. Guest access The house sits on 1 acre on the Delatite river and its very private. Access is available for visitors to walk along the river, in summer its perfect for cooling down in the river and swimming. It is very easy to catch trout 10m from the back door in season! The house is 25min driving door to door to the snow in the winter and offers many local walks and cycling opportunities throughout the year. Other things to note For urgent supplies the Merrijig Motor Inn is 5 minutes around the corner for items such as Milk / bread etc. (they also have wood fired pizzas on a Friday night!). Mansfield is only 15minute drive away to have access to the local IGA & Foodworks, many choices also for cafes and restaurants. Maximum guest is strictly 13 as this is the maximum bedding arrangements and linen that can be offered at the moment.
