Sleeps 6 in 3 superking/twin rooms & 3 bathrooms. The space As soon as you enter The Beehouse you know you are somewhere really special. Renovated from an old stable which was also used to overwinter bees in the bee 'boles' (still visible behind the wood-burning stove), the space is light and airy with a welcoming and homely feel and everything that you could need for your stay. With air-source heat-pump underfloor heating downstairs and in the upstairs bathrooms, electric heaters in the bedrooms and a wood-burning stove in the kitchen/family room, The Beehouse is perfect for holidays all year round. Entering the hallway, there is space for boots and coats as well as a seat so that someone else can pull your muddy boots off after a long walk. Ahead of you is the downstairs bedroom with adjoining wet-room - perfect if you have people in your group who need to stay on one floor. All doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair. The open-plan kitchen, dining room and family room is fully equipped for proper cooking, with plenty of work space, a large dining room table and chairs (seats 6+) and comfortable sofas and chairs (6-8 people) around the fire and flat screen TV with Sky. The French Windows onto the patio make this is a lovely gathering / entertaining space. Games, toys and DVDs are also available. Upstairs are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms can be set up as either superking or twin rooms. Fully equipped with bedside tables, lamps, chests of drawers, hanging space or wardrobes and with a cot also available, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with high quality mattresses, hypoallergenic pillows and duvets and hotel quality cotton bedlinen and towels. The master bedroom has a large south-facing picture window with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The full-length interlined curtains and black-out blind on the velux window ensure complete darkness at whatever time you decide to sink into the luxurious bed. The ensuite bathroom has a power shower, separate bath, heated towel rail and a wash-basin and an eye level velux window facing East towards Dairsie and the sea. The final bedroom is the largest room with lovely views across the fields to the East. This room has the cot and a lovely ensuite bathroom with a double power-shower and separate bath, heated towel rail, basin etc. There is also a utility room upstairs with a washing machine, tumble-drier, space to dry clothes and sink as well as washing powder and fabric conditioner. We also supply a starter pack of loo-roll, dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid as well as cleaning equipment. Outside there is plenty of space to park cars and a covered area for bikes, golf clubs, surf boards and other sports equipment. The area by the front door is paved making it easily accessible for wheelchair users. Dogs are very welcome at The Beehouse up to a maximum of 2, at an extra charge of £25 per dog. Guest access All parts of The Beehouse are available to our guests as well as the area immediately outside the property that is lawned. Parking is right outside the front door and there is space for 3 cars and more further away from the property (within short walk) Other things to note The Beehouse is located on our property next to our family home. We have two grown up children, and a dog, so there are other people constantly coming and going. The Beehouse is set back behind the main house offering seclusion and privacy for our guests. The Bothy is our second property (also on Airbnb) and is adjacent to The Beehouse with separate entrance. The farms around us are mainly arable. Registration Details FI 00362 P
