This house was built in the 15th and 17th centuries, it was notably the property of Geneviève Dehelly (contemporary pianist of Francis Poulenc). We offer this family home for rent, in the heart of Amboise, to which the owners are very attached. For these reasons, it cannot be rented as part of festive events. Thank you for your understanding. The house has 5 bedrooms for 12 beds (+ 2 extra beds for children under 4 years old). It is composed on the ground floor: - Entrance and cloakroom -Large living room with fireplace, piano and smart TV - Large dining room overlooking the garden and patio - Equipped kitchen: induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, American fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishes, basic necessities... - Lingerie with washer and dryer - Two separate toilets - Two bedrooms with queen size beds overlooking the garden, including one with TV. - Two bathrooms On the first floor, you will find: - One bedroom with queen size bed (with TV) - One bedroom with a king-size bed that can be separated into 2 single beds - A dormitory bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 1 single bed (+1 extra bed) - Bathroom with toilet Special care has been taken in the choice of high-end bedding made in France. The duvets and pillows were manufactured in Amboise. Outside: - An extensive landscaped garden enclosed by French walls, with lawns, massifs, fruit trees, vine rows, lime trees... A large terrace adjoining the house will allow you to enjoy meals outdoors. A 5-seater spa awaits you to relax after a day of sightseeing. An outdoor play area (hut, slide, swings, etc.) for children is available for your use. - A patio is in the center of the house. You can sit there peacefully to have a coffee, a reading time next to the water lily pond, the wisteria... - Simply crossing the street, a large private heated swimming pool (10x3.5m) awaits you in a garden protected by hedges, usually open from May to September (depending on cliamtic conditions). It is surrounded by a terrace and trees from which you can pick the fruit in season. A carport allows you to park your vehicles in a sheltered area. Guest access The entire property is available for your use. The second garden allows you to park your vehicles safely. Ideally located in Amboise, it allows you to reach the city center and its shops in 2 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bike, 17 minutes on foot. Other things to note The price includes linens and beds made on arrival, towels and cleaning on departure. Pool and jacuzzi towels are not provided. A small grocery store, hygiene and cleaning products are available to start the stay. The maintenance of the pool and spa is provided by a technician working on site once a week.
