On the ground floor, shared with the other two houses in the building, there is a Finnish sauna/bio sauna (for a fee, by reservation), a gym, a room for working, and, in the garden, a heated swimming pool (not open from November to February), a relaxation area where guests can unwind on large sun loungers or deck chairs, in the sun or under the trees, or enjoy a candlelit lunch or dinner, as well as a large living/dining room with sofas, a large TV with a soundbar, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, dining tables, and showers. For groups of travelers, two more beautiful properties (belonging to another Host) can be booked in the same building. Guest access Guests can also enjoy shared areas with two other units in the building, designed to offer you a complete experience of relaxation and well-being. Other things to note The house is in a really strategic location, an ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of Sicily, a few minutes' walk from the Giarre-Riposto train station and only 3.5 km from the A18 highway exit, which makes it easily accessible. Catania Airport can be reached in just 40 minutes by highway. Located in the most elegant and commercial street of the historic center of Giarre, the house is surrounded by everything you need to make your stay comfortable and pleasant: supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, pizzerias, wine bars, pubs and shops of all kinds, and then the Port of Etna and the famous Fish Market of Riposto, just a 20-minute walk away. Despite being in the heart of the city, the area is quiet and safe, away from the confusion of the nearby town of Catania, which is still easily accessible in just 25 minutes via highway. Just a 5-minute drive away are numerous beaches, some equipped with seasonal facilities. Nature lovers will enjoy unique scenarios due to the proximity to the majestic Etna volcano, which is only 30 minutes away, to the Alcantara Gorges, just 35 minutes away; the beautiful Taormina, with its Teatro Greco and Isola Bella, are just a 25-minute drive on the highway, Syracuse with its Greek Theater and Ortigia, can be reached in just over an hour; 75 minutes away is the hydrofoil for a visit to the wonderful Aeolian Islands.
