Our Fisherman's cottage is in the pretty port of La Rive, Mortagne-sur-Gironde. Mortagne is a lovely fishing village in the Charente-Maritime - only 20 minutes drive from the great beaches at Meschers and Royan. The space The house itself is an old fisherman's cottage, and was once an "epicerie" (a village grocers shop) and has a large open plan living area, with a well equipped kitchen, and 3 bedrooms. There is a brand new timber decked terrace overlooking the port, with table, chairs and barbecue.
