This house name is "Kiyomizu-Bettei ". We are licensed accommodation with government of Kyoto city. The house has passed safety fire inspection of fire department. This house is located in Kiyomizu area where is the most historical area in Kyoto. It is easy to visit many temples on foot and also Gion is only 15 minute walking distance. You will enjoy the traditional atmosphere in Kyoto. This house is big enough for one or two families, so you can enjoy your relaxing time at the house too. We can prepare a baby cot for under 1 year old! Please feel free to contact us in advance if you need them. ※Please bring your own pajamas. ※Floor heating is installed and managed with a timer so that you can spend comfortably even in the cold winter. Guest access Check in time is 4 PM to 8 PM. ※If you will arrive later than 8 pm, please message and tell us in advance. Leaving luggage before check in time (after 11:30 am) is available, please feel free to ask us if you need it. Other things to note ※ When you check in, please pay accommodation tax of Kyoto government. This accommodation tax is not included in rental cost of the house. Please pay by cash. The tax fee is depends on how much you payed for your rental cost. If your rental cost is under 20000 JPY per person per night, the tax is 200 JPY per person per night. (EX) If you are 3 people and you stay 3 nights, the accommodation tax will be 200 JPY × 3 people × 3 nights = 1800 JPY If your rental cost is 20000 JPY to 49,999 JPY per person per night, the tax is 500 JPY per person per night. (EX) If you are 2 people and you stay 2 nights, the accommodation tax will be 500 JPY × 2 people × 2 nights = 2000 JPY ⇒ [Accommodation Tax Change Notice] Accommodation tax will change for stays after March 1, 2026 Accommodation Rates (per person per night): Less than 6,000 yen: 200 yen Accommodation Rates (per person per night): 6,000 yen or more but less than 20,000 yen: 400 yen Accommodation Rates (per person per night): 20,000 yen or more but less than 50,000 yen: 1,000 yen ※Check in time is by 8pm. Please kindly let us know your arrival time in Kyoto or house in advance. ※Please let us know the correct number of people in your party. If the number of people is different from the number you actually book with, we will charge you extra. Persons not registrated for accommodation must refrain from staying overnight in the room. ※No smoking inside of the house, outside of the house and the garden. Please smoke at convenient stores. ※When you check in, please fill in a registration form and we will scan your passport. The Japanese Government is requiring “foreign nationals who do not possess an address in Japan” to provide their ＊nationality and ＊passport number in addition to their ＊name, ＊address, and ＊occupation, etc. and produce and make a copy of their passport upon checking in at lodgings.
