Matakana Waterfall Hideaway

Welcome to your own private universe for two overlooking a stunning waterfall set in its own natural amphitheatre. A romantic oasis where you can escape it all, relax and read in the speckled sunlight, listen to music or just enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the waterfall. And if you like retro treasures, there’s Lord Alfred’s Antiques literally just outside your door. A minute or two down the road, Matakana's famous vineyards, farmer's market, sculpture trails and beautiful beaches await. The space You are welcome to walk down to the waterfall and spend time in the garden by the river. There is also your own private river stone patio outside the Hideaway. Guest access Hideaway, patio, path to and garden by the waterfall. Other things to note We live in another building on the property however the Hideaway is private from our house, inside and out as it is facing the waterfall so your privacy wouldn’t be compromised.
