The space Welcome to our cosy and well-equipped little townhouse, spread over three characterful floors and perfect for a comfortable stay. Step through your own private front door into a bright kitchen with a fold-down dining table (seating up to five) and a separate, inviting sitting room with a TV — ideal for unwinding after a day out. On the first floor, you’ll find a modern bathroom with a large shower, toilet, and basin, plus a second sitting room/snug with a corner sofa (which easily converts into a generous sofa bed) and another TV. From here, enjoy lovely views over Belle Vue and Marcle Ridge. The top floor houses two charming bedrooms — one double and one single. Please note, due to the character of this historic building, the stairs are narrow and steep, though they are fitted with handrails. Parking: 60-minute parking bays opposite the house (free between 6 pm–8:30 am Mon–Sat and all day Sundays) Free street parking within a 1–2 minute walk (first come, first served) Pre-bookable car park at Tesco, Orchard Lane (2 minutes’ walk) – £5.39 for 24 hrs (2026 prices) A Warm Welcome: We like guests to feel at home right away, so you’ll find a selection of teas, coffee, sugar, and milk ready for your first hot drink. The Homend Garage/shop (open 24/7) is just a 2-minute walk for any extra supplies. Please note: The house does not have outside space or a garden — but you’ll find lovely green areas nearby. Guest access Entire house Other things to note The house is spread over three storeys, connected by stairs with handrails. Please note, the stairs are narrow and steep — a feature of the home’s historic character. If you have any mobility concerns, you may prefer using the comfortable sofa bed on the second floor. On the top staircase, there’s a low beam — so do watch your head as you go up and down.
