Beach, sun and sand! Reminiscent of times gone by, Sunshine Cottage by the Sea is a cherished family bach situated steps from Onetangi beach. Pack up the kids, boogie boards & your favourite novel and prepare yourselves for a good old fashioned beach holiday. The space The bach, originally built in the 20's, has lovely wooden floors, stunning views of the beach, an open plan living/kitchen area and a bedroom wing in the main house. The bathroom is accessed externally off the back deck. Sunshine Cottage is situated on the eastern end of Onetangi beach with 2.5 kilometres of white sand and charming seaside cafes. The vineyards and restaurants of the "vineyard valley" including Miro/Casita Miro, Obsidian, Stonyridge, Te Motu and Wild on Waiheke are all within easy reach. The property is close to the golf course, Countdown supermarket, Saturday farmer's market and many other Waiheke attractions. Bed configuration: Bedroom 1 - double bed Bedroom 2: single over double bunk Please note: Rates are based on occupancy for up to four guests. An additional fee of $50 per person per night applies for additional guests using the top bunk. A compulsory linen fee of $25 per person, per stay and a compulsory $200 exit cleaning charge applies to each booking. Beach towels can also be hired for $7.50 per person per stay. Minimum stays: Mid December to end January - 7 nights, holiday weekends - 3 nights and 2 nights at all other times. Pets considered on request only and must be approved in writing. At Stay Waiheke we offer a wide range of services for guests in residence including provisioning, private cheffing, beach towel hire, transport, tours, child minding and housekeeping.
