Traditional house with private pool

Our villa is a heritage family house, at least hundred and fifty years old, on a peaceful island off the city of Split (45 minutes by ferry/ 6 ferries per day). The villa offers a lot of space (4 bedrooms, 2 terraces and a sundeck) and comfort (3 bathrooms/toilets). It has all modern amenities (dishwasher, AC, WiFi, cable TV, washing-machine) . The villa includes a private swimming pool (about 10 m long) to be used only by you and a kitchen garden (tomatoes, aubergines, zucchini, etc.) The space Our villa is a heritage house that provided roots to a family that is now scattered along three continents. Its thick stone walls preserve heat in winter and freshness in summer, as well a spirit of previous generations that can be glimpsed from old framed family photos. According to the traditional architecture, there are three different terraces for different time of the day or season. Under our more than half a century old grape pergolas you can enjoy late breakfast and lunch, while an open sun deck, next to the pool, is perfect for dinner and star gazing late into the night. Staying in this traditional compound, also comprising a small organic garden with seasonal vegetables for you to use, will make you understand what used to be traditional, village Dalmatian life, while at the same time all modern amenities will help you relax and enjoy your stay. We love our family house passionately and try to pass that feeling to our guests. The villa is located in a traditional village about 2.5 km from the sea and 1 km from shops. Peace and quiet reigns except for occasional concerts and the village Church festival on August 15. The villa offers a lot of space (4 bedrooms) and comfort (3 bathrooms/toilets). And finally you can dip into the swimming pool (about 9 m long), day or night, secluded from village eyes. It can house 7 people, but will give a lot of space to hide and relax. The living area is about 130 sq. m. Guest access The swimming pool is inside the house and only for you! The access is protected by a door (for children). Vegetables in the garden are for you (automated drip irrigation!). In summer, you may find tomatoes, zucchinis, eggplants, cucumbers, green bell peppers, mint, basil, Swiss chart, etc. Guests can easily park their car in the village (next to the church) or further away on a parking lot we have) Other things to note There are many steps in the villa, notably to the first floor and to the sundeck There are many personal items in the villa. Be nice to them. There may be wasps during summer. Be careful while eating/drinking sweet items. There are old neighbors around: please, do not make too much noise outside after 10 pm.
