Comfortable quiet apartement with great view

The apartment is located in a chalet with a wonderful view of the Diemtigtal and the village of Diemtigen. The apartment has a spacious living and dining area with woodburning stove, a modern kitchen, three bedrooms, a large bathroom and two balconies. The apartment is well served by public transport (bus stop 50m) and is an ideal starting point for various activities in the Diemtigtal Nature Park, the Bernese Oberland and the cities of Thun and Bern during the whole year. The space The chalet has been built in 1966 by my parents. It is located 300 m beyond the village Diemtigen and offers a miraculous look in the Diemtigtal and on the village Diemtigen. From 2012 - 2015 the whole chalet has been renovated according to ecological criteria. The insulation of the building envelope with sheep wool creates a pleasant room climate in summer and winter. Only indigenous woods have been used in the interior, mainly from the Diemtigtal and from our own forest. The heating is done with renewable energy in the form of wood from our forest. The photovoltaic system produces aprox. 10,000 kWh per year and therefore enough electricity for the three apartments in the chalet. Guest access The entire apartment ist available only for my guests. The washing machine in the basement is available for shared use. Other things to note There is another holiday apartment in the chalet.
