Barbizon, Fontainebleau, Charming country house

We live 200 meters away from the beautiful forest of fontainebleau, with its famous rocks for bouldering, and 2 kilometers away from Barbizon, a very old typical french village where "pointilisme" was born and where a lot of painters from the "impressionniste" mouvement use to paint. The light is indeed very special! The house is peaceful and ideal to relax in between the fireplace and the park planted with "century old "trees . The space The house is a 19th century typical french country house. We totally renovated it 3 years ago. It has all the modern facilities that one can ask for. The garden is huge with one hundred year old trees. There are a lot of windows , so plenty of light every where inside. Magnificient cheminey and fireplace in the living room. Very spacious and beautiful master suite on the first floor, all bedrooms with garden views. It makes it an ideal place to chill, breath and relax. You have many restaurants in the near by typical villages: Barbizon, Bois le roi, Fontainebleau, Bourron Marlotte, Samois-sur-seine. At 7 kms away only, you have a huge mall with all sorts of shops and the biggest "Carrefour" supermarket in France. Guest access You have access to the whole house, with all the facilities described in the announcement. (except 2 locked rooms where we keep our personnal effects). You also have access to the 5000 m2 private park which surrounds the house. Bed linen and towels are provided from 6 nights or special request. there are 2 single beds for children only (room 3) and 1 single bed for an adult in the room 1. Other things to note Our 2 lovely cats, Blues and Lili, live in the house. They are totally independant because of the flap in the entrance hall. Before your arrival, we give them enough food and water, so all they need is a little bit of affection during your stay... The fireplace has to be used with precaution. Never put more than 4 small/medium size logs in at a time. Never go to bed with the fire on. Bed linen and towels are provided from 6 nights or special request. The house is for 5 adults and 2 children.
