Mead Flat - 2 Bed Sea View Flat in Dawlish

Mead Flat is a large top floor 2 bedroom flat in a Victorian property in the heart of Dawlish. In 2018 it was completely refurbished to a very high standard. We use this flat as our holiday home with our 4 boys so it has everything you need for a great holiday. Everything is within a very short walking distance whether it be playing on the beach, running about on the lawn, browsing the local shops and restaurants, or jumping on the train up to Exeter or down to Penzance . The space The accommodation comprises of a double bedroom with en-suite shower room with drencher; a large second bedroom which has a double, a single and a single sofa bed; the main bathroom with a bath with shower over; a large living room with a comfy sofa looking out towards the sea; a kitchen with full height Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, induction hob and over and dining area with seating for 8 people. As this is our holiday home we have everything you need for self catering, though with so many cheap restaurants within 5 minutes walk, you may choose not to cook. The flat is on the second floor as in reached by a central staircase. My 80 year old mother has no problems with the stairs, but please be aware there is no lift. Whilst there isn't parking at the property, you can park in the train car park (for a daily fee) or up the hill 5 minutes away for free. You can stop outside to load and unload. Once we are there we don't use the car for days. Other things to note Please note as we are not local, this is a holiday home. Therefore there will be some non-perishable condiments etc on-site, but we are at the mercy of the previous tenants. We leave a welcome pack via the cleaner for new guests with a few items in, but you need to buy your own food if you wish to cook on-site. There is enough equipment to do a Christmas dinner, but if you don't like cooking there are loads of restaurants around.
