Chalet Shiraz is a beautiful chalet situated in the picturesque village of Les Houches in France conveniently situated near restaurants and a large supermarket, making catering easy. We are minutes away from Chamonix and the Mont Blanc tunnel, giving you easy access to the adventure playgrounds of Italy too! The space The chalet is the perfect year round base for enjoying everything the Chamonix has to offer. Whether it's an outdoor summer holiday (hiking, walking, mountain biking, climbing, summer skiing, paragliding, golf, white water rafting or canyoning), with some beautiful walks from our doorstep or the winter skiing and snowboarding season. Our chalet offers the ideal setting for holidays in Chamonix. Our spacious deck with outdoor tub leads out onto a large garden offering a perfect mountain setting for barbeques and soaking up the sunshine, with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc and surrounding Chamonix mountains. Our location offers guests a great mix of a tranquil, family-friendly setting in a lively, mountain resort. From Chalet Shiraz it is just a 5-10 minute walk (downhill when leaving, uphill on return) to the Saint -Antoine bus stop where you can catch the shuttle bus throughout the Chamonix valley. For Skiing the closest area is Les Houches and the main lift areas are only 4 mins (Bellevue) or 6 mins (Le Prarion) away or you can take the bus to any of the ski areas in the Chamonix valley. All the main ski areas have parking if you prefer to drive. ​ Local shops and restaurants are within walking distance or you can take the bus (or train) to Chamonix where you can access a huge range of shops, restaurants, bars and other services. There is a night bus service running until 11pm making it easy to get back from an evening out. There are frequent bus and train services which you can lookup online to get the latest details for the duration of your stay. Alternatively it is a very easy drive taking less than 10mins. ​ The day bus is free for guests with a lift pass. The night service is €2 per trip. OUR CHALET ACCOMMODATION Comfortably accommodates up to 15 people, whether they be groups of friends, colleagues, couples or families. There are 3 large double/twin rooms and 3 family/quad rooms sleeping 4 (with double/twin beds and bunk beds) All bedrooms have private, en-suite bathrooms. All beds zip-and-link so can be king-size beds or split into two single beds, with carefully selected mattresses, pillows, duvets and finest quality linen, ensuring complete comfort. Guest access Full use of entire chalet and garden, including open-plan living area, kitchen, two separate entertainment areas, sauna, large deck with hot tub, large garden, private parking. Access to the garage is NOT included. Other things to note Please be aware this is not a 'Party' house. The chalet is in a residential area and there are restrictions on noise after 10pm in Les Houches. The hot-tub must not be used after 9pm and there should be no outdoor noise after 10pm. The price quoted includes linen, towels, end of stay cleaning plus the 200E hot tub use fee per stay are also included. In an exceptional instance where the hot tub is out of action the use fee per stay will be refunded. Please respect the neighbours at all times. Be aware the plunge pool is out of use for guests.
