The cottage is set in a quiet rural area. The two bedroom apartment, the basement of the cottage, has a private access from the road, it includes a living room with a kitchenette and opens up to a romantic pergola with a magnificent view of Sintra mountains and only 10 minutes from several Atlantic beaches. The space The apartment is 30 minute's drive from Lisbon airport and Lisbon center. It is 3km from Sintra center and only 10 minutes away from several atlantic beaches such as Praia Grande, Praia das Maças, Praia da Adraga. It is also 20km distant from the coastal touristic resorts of Estoril and Cascais. Sintra World Heritage: This is an excellent touring area and the ideal base for visiting the numerous castles, palaces, museums and beaches. Guest access The apartment is a ground floor that includes a living-dining room with a kitchenette, two comfortably furnished bedrooms ( a twin bedded room and a double bedroom) and a bathroom. The whole area opens up to the garden through a tiled romantic pergola. The house is a quiet and familiar place, ideal for a couple with two children. Other things to note As it is a rural area the accommodation has a sceptic fosse, so you may not put any toilet tissue in the toilet but in a separate bin used for this purpose. In order to explore Sintra, its historical sites and the beaches you must have your own car, public transport is scarce and expensive in the area. This apartment is a reputable, legally registered and recognized rental, fully registered at Turismo de Portugal (12634/AL) and supervised by the local authorities, Camara Municipal de Sintra and ASAE. This accreditation can be checked any time at Turismo de Portugal database. From March 2019, the Municipal Chamber of Sintra began, like other district capitals in Portugal, to charge a Tourist Tax.
