The Lakehouse Queenstown is Absolute Lakefront, so close to the water it feels like you're floating above the Lake. A very special feature is the private jetty and the large outdoor hot tub/spa enjoying lake and mountain views. This five bedroom, four bathroom property is within walking distance to Central Queenstown. The interior layout is spacious and comfortable for both larger and smaller groups and is regularly booked for two families or extended family get togethers. The space THE LAKEHOUSE Newly renovated interiors with Chef's kitchen, Gas Fire, Oak wall paneling, Italian stone bathrooms, Designer upholstery and decor. SETTING Enjoy the spectacular views.... the house is set amongst mature trees with uninterrupted iconic views of The Remarkables Mountain Ranges and Lake Wakatipu. Stroll through the front garden and straight onto the Frankton Walking Track. A scenic 20 minute walk along the track and through the botanical gardens will bring you into the heart of Queenstown's restaurants, bars, cafes and attractions. Should you choose to take the car, it's a short 3 minute drive into town. The private jetty is right on your doorstep, it's a great place to relax, pack a picnic or enjoy the colors of the sunset sky with a bottle of wine. Fun for the kids to splash around in the summer months It's also a very special setting for photographs. BEDROOMS The Upstairs level offers three bedrooms. Bdrm 1 - Super King Bedroom with views to the mountains and courtyard. Newly renovated luxury Ensuite with rain shower. Bedroom 2 - Bunk room offers 2 Sets of Bunks accommodating 4 people. The Bunk Room beds are all King Single Adult size with high quality, pillow top, inner sprung mattresses. The family bathroom is located next door to the bunk room. Bdrm 3 - Master bedroom with Super King Bed with Lake and Mountain views. New Ensuite, also with views from the double rain shower heads, freestanding bath, gunmetal fittings and enormous glimmering chandelier. Downstairs offers two additional bedrooms. Bedroom 4 – Queen Bed. Newly renovated Ensuite with Italian stone tiles, gunmetal tap ware and fittings. Bedroom 5 - Queen Bed Both downstairs Bedrooms also enjoy direct lake and mountain views. Our beds are supremely comfortable with luxury bed linens, quality feather duvets, plenty of pillows and electric blankets in the double rooms. KITCHEN & LIVING The designer kitchen is modern and well equipped with stone bench tops, stainless steel appliances, quality crockery, cookware and glassware. The generously sized 120cm double oven with five gas burners, plus a wok burner, is plenty big enough to cook for 12 guests. The rustic dining table has seating for 12 so everyone can enjoy meals together. The living room offers the ultimate in relaxation with serene decor, oversized sofas and comfy curved sofa chairs. A modern gas fire place has been recently installed with a beautiful oak paneling wall. The latest model Smart TV is ready to enjoy your streaming services High speed, unlimited fibre optic internet ensures all guests enjoy quality internet during their stay. Downstairs features a second TV Room, this area has also been recently renovated with oak walls creating a cosy and snug space. The impressive mountain and lake views are also enjoyed on this level. OUTDOORS ENTERTAINING Entertain in the courtyard garden setting in the summer months, open the bi-fold doors to both the courtyard and the front deck to create a seamless indoor/outdoor living space. The large American Hot Tub/Spa Pool, seating seven people, sits at the end of the courtyard and enjoys those impressive views. Soak up the morning sun listening to the birds on the upper and lower full-length balconies overlooking the lake, mountain and gardens. During the warmer months you're welcome to enjoy some fruit from the trees in the front garden, apples, plums, pears and apricots are plentiful. LAUNDRY & SKI STORAGE A fully equipped laundry with washing machine and dryer is accesed just off the kitchen area. A Ski & Snow Board Storage locker is conveniently located in the driveway area. BOOKINGS Christmas & New Years - We will only accept family groups during this period. CHECK IN A check in appointment is required for this property, keys will not be left out. Please provide us with your arrival details upon booking, ie. flight times, if driving, please provide your estimated time of arrival. We will pre-book your check in appointment to ensure someone is available for your preferred time. CHILDREN Children are most welcome. Please ensure they are supervised at all times, especially with the hot tub. This property is not fenced and has direct access to the lake. We ask that no baby proofing items are installed in the home, no baby gates as we have raw oak cladding on the stairwells which will scuff and scratch from the gates. Please take care with looking after our carpets and expensive upholsteries. Guest access Owner has a few lockable storage areas, otherwise guests have full access to the house. We do require access to the property to take the rubbish bins out the evening before collection. The bins will be returned the next day. Other things to note The Lakehouse is not available for parties, weddings or functions. No Stags or Hens Groups or party groups. Age group strictly 25 years plus. This rule does not apply to family groups with children & teenagers. Maximum of 12 guests permitted in the property at any one time. No extra guests visiting. No cooking of curries is permitted This is a strictly non smoking and non vaping property Check out is strictly 10am to allow for incoming bookings at 3pm. No excessive noise anytime, quiet hours 10pm - 8am A $500 call out fee will be charged should management be required to attend the property due to noise complaints. A bond of $1500 is payable. A bond inspection will be conducted the day of departure. Property must be left as you found it, neat and tidy, dishes done, bbq cleaned all rubbish taken outside to the appropriate bins and no lingering odours. Your booking rate includes professional cleaning on departure, any excess cleaning required above this amount, excess rubbish removal or any damages to the property, will be deducted from your bond. Please clean BBQ after using. Please remove your shoes inside the house No fires or fire hazards (no smoking, no candles) No pets Guests “Accept and Agree” to the House Rules and Rental Agreement when a booking is confirmed Christmas & New Years - Booking to family groups only. Check in is not available on Christmas Day.
