JR Enmachi, the nearest station from our place is only 4 stops from Kyoto Station. You can find lots of cool restaurants in this area. Very comfortable to stay and live Japanese local life! ※Please do not smoke. Smoking is not allowed inside and outside of the house. Please go to convenient stores where they have ashtrays. ※Please keep the noise down especially after 9pm. Guest access This house is completely private, and you won't share with anyone else. Other things to note ①ABOUT CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT ※Check-in time is 16:00-21:00. We will arrange check-in time with you, so please arrive at the door on time. As we need to arrange your check-in with our staff, please let us know your estimated arriving time 2-3 days prior to your arrival date. Our staff will meet you at the door and give you the house key. ※Check-out time is before 10:00. Please leave the house key into the Key Box at the entrance. ※Please don't drag your suitcase on the street (neighbourhood) between 22:00-07:00. ②ABOUT ACCOMMODATION FORM & PASSPORT COPIES We kindly ask you to submit accommodation forms and passport copies of all the guests staying in our guesthouse after completing your reservation with us. We will send you the form to fill in. If you are 5 persons, please provide 5 sets of forms and passport copies. ③ABOUT ACCOMMODATION TAX To all the guests staying in accommodations in Kyoto City, ★In Kyoto City, a new accommodation tax will be implemented starting 1st October 2018. ★All the guests (both foreigners and Japanese) staying in Kyoto are required to pay the Accommodation Tax. We will send you the payment request through Airbnb about 10days prior to your arrival, so please approve the request and complete the payment on Airbnb. ★Tax rates: (Based on the Accommodation fee per person, per night) 1JPY to 19,999JPY → 200JPY per person 20,000JPY to 49,999JPY → 500JPY per person Over 50,000JPY → 1,000JPY per person *For example, your total accommodation fee is 30,000JPY for 1 night stay with 3 persons at our house, each person will pay 200JPY per night. If you are staying for 2 nights, each person will pay 400JPY. Thus, it depends on the total price of what you paid for your stay. ④ABOUT ROOM RATES Room rates are better to check on the Airbnb website than asking us, because the rates fluctuate according to currency exchange rates. ⑤ABOUT WELCOME GUIDE I will send you all the essential information (Welcome Guide) for your smooth check-in once your forms&passport copies are submitted and accommodation tax got paid. ⑥Smoking is NOT allowed inside and outside the guesthouse. If you want to smoke, please go to convenient stores where they have ashtrays. ⑦Please do not leave any big rubbish such as suitcases, clothes, cardboard boxes etc without letting us know. In Japan rubbish disposal regulation is very strict, and we are obliged to pay additional fee to dispose those rubbish. ★Please let us know if you would like to stay longer than 30 days.
