Enjoy a piece of history with all the comforts The space The house consists of a villa entirely made of stone, it was not possible to date the construction but in all likelihood it is a rural house of the nineteenth century, in 2019 a total restoration began in the name of the construction of a modern house with all kinds of comforts. The house is equipped with underfloor air conditioning, jacuzzi faucets, mini hydromassage pool and in general we have selected quality materials in compliance with the origins of the property. Entering through the gate, you can access a paved garden with a relaxation corner where the mini pool is housed and a dining area with reclining armchairs and a comfortable outdoor kitchen. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a large kitchen, two bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, on the attic floor a sleeping area with double bed and bathroom and a living area with double sofa bed and 17 cm mattress. The house is equipped with WIFI and all televisions are smart TVs. The rate does not include the tourist tax. (€3 per person per day for guests who have reached the age of 12, up to a maximum of 10 days per stay) Guest access The recommended parking lot is Lumbi, (attention: maximum height 1.9 meters). A shuttle is available that takes you to the Porta Messina bus station, which is 40 meters from the house. For more convenient parking, we recommend Porta Pasquale, but it only offers hourly rates and is certainly not cheap. The house is located in a limited traffic area in the historic center, so the recommended access is only pedestrian, except for loading and unloading luggage. The car is certainly not the best way to get around the territory of Taormina and Castelmola, not even to reach the beaches, the roads are often congested and parking is impossible even for residents with special permission, leave the car and forget about it for the entire stay, except for trips out of town that I recommend in my guide. Warning: The house is located on a pedestrian street accessible by two large flights of stairs. Other things to note Given the logistics of the area, paid porterage services are available, recommended for loading and unloading luggage, as well as home deliveries by supermarkets and shops, as well as for small trips you can take advantage of taxi and limo services at affordable prices.
