Whiritoa Beach House, by lagoon & beach

Great beach house. Quiet location, across road from lagoon and beach. It's basic, but fully-equipped, and (fairly) recently renovated. We love it, and make it available to guests for 8 weeks a year, when we can't be there ourselves. Note that after it's been booked for 8 weeks we don't take any more bookings. Sorry. We don’t make it available very much. We just ask that guests treat the place well. Any questions, please get in touch. The space The house can comfortably sleep 8 (including 4 children on the bunks). 2 double bedrooms upstairs. Large 'kids' room downstairs (2 bunks (for up to 4 children)). Bathroom & separate WC upstairs. WC / sink downstairs. Outside shower (enclosed, with hot water). Fully equipped kitchen: oven, hob, dishwasher, breakfast bar, Italian coffee machine & grinder. ‘Drinks’ fridge in storage area under house. Sitting area & TV upstairs. Glass doors slide completely open (in sitting / living area & in kitchen). WiFi. TV in downstairs bedroom. Fully-equipped laundry: W-M, dryer. Heat pump for winter. AC for summer (but obviously better just to open all the windows …) Deck overlooks beach / lagoon / reserve. Barbecue, heater, & lighting on the deck. Double & single kayak. Bikes also available. Tennis courts also in the village (we have a key to the courts). It's a kiwi bach, not a hotel. We leave some of our stuff there - books, spreads & condiments in fridge, cooking ingredients, perhaps some stuff in freezer, cleaning stuff, some stuff in bathroom/s etc - but there's plenty of room for your stuff. We ask that guests replace anything they use. Other things to note There are towels & linen there, but there will be an additional cost for that (to cover cleaning costs etc). We charge $25 pp to cover our costs. The listing price assumes only 1 family is staying. If there's another family staying, we charge a further 50% of the cost to cover additional use, wear & tear etc.
