Continue into the dining room where a dining table sits in front of the wood burner and beneath the wooden beamed ceiling. The galley kitchen is bright and compact – with everything you need to cook a special meal for your loved ones. Upstairs is a family bathroom with a roll top, claw-foot bath plus two bedrooms – a king-size and a twin. Outside the quay-side garden and upper rear garden has seating and tranquil views. Start your day with a wander through the village of Helford and stop for some breakfast at the cafe before strolling to the riverfront (within 0.5 miles). From here a ferry can take you to Helford Passage (1 mile) – not far from here is the secluded sandy Grebe Beach (2 miles) and Trebah Garden (1.5 miles). For a memorable day out, visit the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (8.5 miles) – which has a collection of penguins, otters, ponies and seals. Put on your hiking boots and head along the South West Coast Path (less than 0.5 miles) which will take you to Bosahan Cove (1 mile) and beyond.
