The historic half-timbered house from 1867 is located near the Geierlay suspension rope bridge in the beautiful Hunsrück town of Buch. It has been stylishly renovated and furnished according to our ideas of vacation and recreation. During the renovation, emphasis was placed on traditional craftsmanship and the use of contemporary materials from around the turn of the century. Modern accents and also original inventory from around 1900, lovingly refurbished and prepared for you. Enjoy your vacation! The space Our vacation home is classified by the German Tourism Association (DTV) with 4 stars. The house has 3 bedrooms on the upper floor (each with a double bed 90/100 cm x 200 cm) and 2 bathrooms, each with a shower, vanity and toilet. For the little guests we are happy to provide a high chair and a children's travel bed. On the first floor you will find space at the large dining table. The 25 m² large and covered terrace is only separated by a glass-paneled wall. In addition to the usual facilities such as oven, stove, fridge, coffee maker, pots and a selection of spices... the kitchen offers a kitchen stove from grandmother's time, which is heated with wood as it was then. Enough firewood is available for cooking or just for the cozy warmth on cool evenings. Of course, the house also has modern central heating with radiators in every room. The living room offers space to linger, watch TV or play games. In the reading corner you will find, in addition to current reading, crime novels and non-fiction books from your vacation region of Hunsrück. From here you have a great view of the terrace and the adjacent meadow. The large garden with a meadow and fruit trees is a great retreat at any time of the year with enough space to play or relax. In summer, you can prepare steaks on a wooden swivel grill or simply enjoy the evening by the campfire. For motorcycles / bicycles we have a small lockable garage for you! Guest access You have access to the whole house. Exception is the boiler room and the adjacent undeveloped barn.
