QUIET APARTMENT IN PRENZLAUERBERG
Peaceful flat in the trendy Prenzlauerberg
Description
Located right in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, probably the most beautiful district of Berlin, this apartment has a special character, with a mixture of design objects, vintage furniture and beautiful, green, old doors. U-Bahn [subway] and supermarkets only 100 meters away! Parking is free of charge about 10 minutes away from the apartment or for only €5/day on the top floor of the Schönhauserallee Arkaden shopping center. The space Located in the heart of the popular Prenzlauer Berg district, this attractive apartment offers some shopping and sightseeing opportunities during your short stay. The beauty of the interiors lies in the tasteful furniture and generally in the many details of the apartment, which is located in a historic building (ornaments on the ceilings, old doors). Opal white walls combined with wooden floors and retro furnishings (no Ikea!) provide a universal charm. The walls of all rooms are decorated with beautiful Polish vintage posters designed for operas and circus performances and give the apartment an artistic touch along with the colorful lamps. The apartment is fully equipped: TV, two Miele washing machines and TWO dryers, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, etc... With some excellent nightclubs, restaurants and shops right outside the front door (two supermarkets, organic and conventional, just 1 minute away), you are spoiled for choice during the day and also at night right in the heart of the most beautiful district of Berlin. Here, most of the buildings were spared from the bombings of World War II. Surroundings and location: The super cool Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg is extremely popular with locals and artists because of its excellent high-quality shopping, the famous flea market of the Mauerpark and the brunch cafés. The location: Numerous pubs, restaurants, cafes, galleries and small shops create an incomparable atmosphere and enable a vibrant nightlife. Together with Schöneberg and Berlin-Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg is a focal point of the Berlin art scene. In addition to Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, it is also a popular district among students. Prenzlauer Berg is one of Berlin's most popular districts and one of the most beautiful residential areas, which is central, but also quieter than Berlin-Mitte. Much of Prenzlauer Berg was spared from World War II and the redesign during the post-war period. Nowadays, Prenzlauer Berg offers trendy shopping, with many fashion designers offering their goods in chic boutiques. Public transport: With excellent public transport connections, you can reach Berlin-Mitte in a few minutes, where you can visit the main attractions of Berlin, such as Alexanderplatz, Museum Island and Hackescher Markt. Nearby S-Bahn (suburban train): Prenzlauer Allee; Nearby U-Bahn (subway): Schönhauser Allee (U2). Suitable for trade fair visitors: Although it seems very remote on the map, the apartment also has good connections to the Berlin Fair, which can be reached in just 25 minutes by line 42. The M2 tram, which you can take at the Prenzlauer Allee S-Bahn stop, only takes a few minutes to get to Alexanderplatz. The apartment can also be reached directly without changing trains from the airport (S9). We look forward to seeing you soon and hope you feel comfortable in Berlin! I'd love the chance to answer any questions you may have. Guest access The apartment consists of two equally sized rooms, kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The two rooms are not connected: The residents can reach the kitchen or bathroom from both rooms or even leave the apartment without disturbing the residents in the other room. Both rooms have two double beds or sofa beds. Thus, each room offers a total of 4 sleeping places. One of the sofa beds can be converted into two single beds as needed. One of the two rooms can be used as a living room during the day (there are two sofas). We recently set up a new TV with some English-language channels! Other things to note Smoking Policy This is a no-smoking apartment. City Tax Starting January 1, 2025, Berlin has increased the city tax from 5% to 7.5% of the net booking price.
