The space This beautiful, typical Drenthe and renovated in old style Saxon farmhouse is available as a wellness and holiday villa. Ideal for families and similar groups. The swimming pool, football field, badminton field, volleyball field, swing and the large trampoline in the beautiful large farm garden also offer plenty of entertainment for our young guests. The 5 star accommodation has everything you need for a fantastic stay in a beautiful rural private location. WELLNESS In addition to the luxury rooms, Luxerij also offers all wellness facilities. For example, there is a lovely heated outdoor pool, with accompanying changing room and toilet, which can be used in the spring and autumn and of course also in the summer. And if you do not like swimming or just want to relax, you can do so on one of our terraces or on one of the comfortable loungers at the edge of the pool. In addition, there is a sauna, large whirlpool and solarium available for our guests. You can even enjoy a wonderful relaxation or wellness massage in the Luxerij. SUROUNDINGS The village of Ruinen is located in the immediate vicinity of the Dwingelderveld National Park. The sheep flock with hundreds of Drenthe Heath Sheep is located a short distance from the Luxerij. In the nearby villages of Dwingeloo, Echten, Ansen, Diever and Havelte you can relax on one of the beautiful terraces. The town of Meppel, also called little Mokum, is within cycling distance. Less than thirty kilometers away in National Park Weerribben-Wieden is, for example, Giethoorn, the "Venice of the North". Sporty guests can indulge themselves as the beautiful landscape is very inviting for walking or cycling. Moreover, there is a tennis court and golf course in the immediate vicinity. Guest access All mentioned areas except the massage room (only for massages) and all mentioned outdoor facilities are accessible to guests. Other things to note Our house rules and conditions apply at all times as stated on our website. If we ask for it, every guest must be able to identify themselves. At 10 p.m. in the evening it must be quiet on the outside area and in the lounge corner. Even during the day, the volume of the HEOS outside may not exceed 50%. The swimming pool is heated from April to October. The owner or landlord lives completely separate from the rented property in the rear part of the farm which is accessible from the other side and has no view of the rented part. Only dogs are allowed, in consultation with the owner. Our accommodation is not rented to groups of young people and focuses primarily on families, so absolutely NO PARTY FARM.
