From the moment one steps through the gate via private terrace, and into the first living room of this unique house, it's the beginning of a journey through time, and a journey towards total relaxation.. The villa was an old Post Office (Stara Posta, in Montenegrin) during Communist times, when Montenegro was part of Former Yugoslavia. The house was built in a traditional Adriatic style, and its new British owners have invested a lot of thought and knowledge in restoring it to a contemporary villa while preserving the best traditional features. A lot of thought has been given to guests' comfort and the calming beauty of the place. The rooms are spacious, filled with natural light, tastefully furnished in an authentic Mediterranean style. The bathrooms are modern, spacious, each with a walk-in shower. The four bedrooms are tranquil, comfortable, with great views, each with own A/C; three with own en-suite bathrooms. There are two living rooms: a smaller one upstairs and a large, open plan living room-diner on the ground floor, both beautifully furnished. The kitchen offers all contemporary amenities, plus the timeless feel of the Mediterranean. It opens up to the terrace with a large dining table, so guests can dine inside or al-fresco. We greet our guests with a welcome hamper of basic foods and a bottle of wine. A holiday spent in 'Stara Posta' will make you feel that time has slowed down to allow you to instantly unwind and renew your life's energies. We require a 100 euros 'damage deposit' to be paid on arrival day. This is returned in full on guests' departure day, unless they have damaged the property during their stay. In that case the damage is assessed and taken out of the damage deposit. We do no charge for small breakages like glasses, cups, plates.
