Detached Bungalow, 2-3 min walk to beach. No pets

Perfect for family holidays near the beach. Tanglin is a 3 bedroom detached bungalow just a 3 minute walk from the beach at Widemouth Bay near Bude on the North Cornwall coast. It has a large garden, perfect for when you have had enough of the beach but still want to be outside and hear the sea. There is a cafe on the way to the beach as well as surf hire available. The Beach House Hotel, Bar & Shop is about 4 minutes walk away and the Bay View Inn is only 5 minutes walk away. The space Set in generous sized plot with garden to 3 sides, perfectly located for an easy walk to and from the excellent 'Blue Flag' beach at Widemouth Bay but set back enough to enable a peaceful and relaxing holiday. If you are looking for contemporary styling or ultimate luxury, you should probably look elsewhere... What Tanglin does offer is a very good location, lots of outdoor space and comfortable indoor space. We don’t allow pets which won’t suit everyone but has obvious benefits for those who are less keen on other people’s pets. Being properly detached means that you will not hear the neighbours and you will have more privacy. As it is our own family holiday home we hope that guests will find it as comfortable as we do. The bedrooms are all at the back of the house and there are no streetlights to overwhelm the moonlight or stars. The sound of the sea can be heard at night, especially with the windows open. Whilst it is a bungalow, the floor level is approximately 2' to 4' off ground level and the bedroom window sills of the double room and bunk room are over 2m above ground level so there should be no privacy concerns. The French windows of bedroom 2 open out onto steps that lead down to the large patio. As shown on the floorplan and in the pictures, the garden is not suitable for young children to be left unattended as there are fences down the two long sides only. Guest access Guests have full and exclusive use of the property and garden during their stay with the exception of the garage. The driveway is long and wide enough for 2 large vehicles. Madeira Drive is a quiet residential road with no through traffic. Other things to note Strictly no smoking/vaping and no pets. Sorry, we also only let to family groups, couples and solo travellers. We generally provide bed linen but can offer a discount if you would like to bring your own, please ask. Please bring your own towels. We have storage space (in the low ceilinged cellar) for surfboards but we do not provide them. If you choose to leave bodyboards there rather than take them home, then following guests might appreciate their presence. There should be a couple of beach windbreaks in the cellar available for guests use but we cannot guarantee. WiFi fibre internet with a download speed of over 30Mbps is provided. The SSID and password will be included in the instructions. Electricity is provided via a £1 slot meter. This is not profit making as it is set to less than the cost of electricity. Typical use for full occupancy in the summer is less than £10 per week.
