Adelaide City Cottage is a perfect choice if you are looking for a home away from home with space, comfort & style. This stylish heritage-listed row cottage is located in a quiet no-thru laneway in the trendy west end of Adelaide city. It's the perfect base to explore South Australia and enjoy cultural & sporting events. Many parks and cafes are nearby, and Adelaide Central Markets, Adelaide Oval, the CBD and Adelaide's main attractions are all within walking distance. The space With an architecturally designed renovation, this historic city cottage retains the character of a heritage home while offering modern style and comfort. Located in a quiet no-thru laneway, the home is suitable for business and leisure travellers and spacious enough to accommodate families. The house has reverse cycle ducted heating and cooling in all rooms, making it comfortable all year round. There is reliable Wi-Fi and a separate study for working or studying from home. Although compact, the one-bedroom cottage has been designed to create two living areas and has a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, separate study and outdoor entertaining area. The front living room, with a charming fireplace, chandelier and flat-screen TV, is a comfortable place to relax. It also has a sofa bed for an extra guest or children, and there is room for a cot. (Not provided.) The main bedroom is spacious and private and has a comfortable queen size bed. The double-glazed bedroom window ensures peace, quiet, and a good night's sleep. Linen and towels are provided for each guest. The light-filled bathroom comprises a large shower, toilet and a washer/dryer. A hairdryer, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided for guest use. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, gas hot plates, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, espresso machine and all the necessary cooking and dining equipment. The open-plan living area has a large flat-screen TV with Chromecast allowing guests to stream their favourite applications. Bi-fold doors open onto the covered outdoor entertaining area, perfect for entertaining or enjoying a glass of South Australian wine on a balmy evening. The study is at the sunny rear of the home with a desk and sofa bed. The addition of a sofa bed enables the study to be converted into an extra bedroom if required (suitable for one adult or children). The Adelaide Central Market is 500m from the house. You will find many cafes, restaurants, and bars on Gouger Street and the surrounding neighbourhood. The airport is 6km from the cottage and easily accessible by taxi, über or public transport (bus). Guest access Guests will have access to the whole home. Other things to note Late check-in / out is available by prior negotiation. A linen hire fee of $25 per extra bed applies if the sofa beds are used. As Adelaide City Cottage is a heritage property, there is no off-street parking; however, a visitor parking permit issued by the Adelaide City Council is available upon request for a fee of $25 per stay.
