This charming Victorian terraced villa has undoubtedly the most spectacular views of the Avon Estuary, Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island. Charm oozes from every corner of this quirky property with its relaxed, fresh and bright accommodation, providing laid back holiday living within walking distance of one of the finest beaches in the South West. The space The front door leads straight into a spacious utility area, with ample space for wetsuit and surfboard storage. Children will be delighted by the bucket and spade corner, and numerous bats, balls and fishing nets. In fact, there is everything here you need to make your days at the beach with the kids a resounding success. The dishwasher and large fridge freezer are also in this room along with a large shower room for rinsing the sand off your toes, a separate loo, washing machine, tumble dryer and butlers sink. This leads neatly into a well equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven. Plenty of space for preparing dinner and packing up the picnic. Next door is a large sitting/dining room featuring a beautiful bay window overlooking the garden and beyond to the shimmering estuary complete with bobbing boats. A well stocked book shelf, flat screen television, video and DVD recorder, Wi-Fi and cosy open fire make this room perfect for relaxing with a good book. A dining table sits at the far end of the room great for family gatherings while you plan the day ahead. The spacious first floor main bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, two fitted wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Two chairs sit side by side in the bay window, perfect for gazing out over the water. The second bedroom has two single beds (Which can be separated or pushed up together.) Ample storage with a double fitted wardrobe and chest of drawer but what makes this room extra special is the secret room! The loveliest, tiny bedroom perfect for a small child. With a single bed - A secret hideout for a little one, a bit of independence but not too far away from big brothers or sisters ! The family bathroom is also on this floor, light and airy with a loo, washbasin and bath with shower over On the top floor is a large, light triple bedroom comprising of three single beds. Light and airy with two skylights, one overlooking the South Hams Valley, the other looking over towards Burgh Island. There are storage cupboards and a small chest of drawers To the rear of the property is a well maintained garden with a lush, green lawn. A patio complete with table and chairs, for alfresco dining and watching the spectacular sunsets. This really is the easiest most relaxed holiday home that you won’t want to leave! Guest access Guests have access to all parts of the space except for the garage and the locked owners private use cupboard in the back hallway area Other things to note PARKING INFORMATION **************************** The property has parking space for two cars, one space directly outside of the property and another just two doors down in front of the garage on the left of the twin garage block set back from the road should you need it, there is also additional day time parking available in the nearby Bantham Estate pay and display beach car park.
