Stunning house set in vines; pool and tennis court

Beautiful light and airy manor house with private pool, new tennis court and outdoor kitchen set amongst the vines next to the picturesque market Bastide town of Sainte-Foy-La Grande, part way between St Emilion and Bergerac. It is the perfect house for family and friends gatherings, with plenty of space. Enjoy wine tastings (within walking distance) or kayaking along the Dordogne. Bergerac airport is a 30 minute drive (Bordeaux airport just over an hour). The space The house lies on the southern range of hills which run along the Dordogne river valley and enjoys commanding views. The house sits in approximately 6 acres which ensures privacy and tranquility. All 5 guest bedrooms are large and each has its own bathroom. One bedroom is a bunk room with 5 beds (plus 2 trundles) which allows flexible sleeping arrangements. It is therefore perfectly suited to family holidays with friends - 4 families can stay without feeling you are on top of each other. When the sun is shining there are a variety of garden games, including tennis, table tennis, croquet and boule. For cozy winter evenings, there are four wood burning stoves and a range of board games. The pool is fenced and open May - September. The pool has a great bar area (with fridge), WC and outdoor shower. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the outdoor kitchen area and al fresco dining on the various terraces. The outdoor kitchen has a bar and various amenities, including a gas barbeque and large pizza oven. There are lovely quiet lanes right outside the house, perfect for picturesque jogs through the vines. A cot and high chair can be provided free of charge, on request. Guest access You will have the house and grounds (including swimming pool and tennis court) to yourself. Other things to note There is good WiFi throughout the house, including in all bedrooms.
