The Haybarn

The Haybarn is a beautifully converted barn with all its characteristics, set on our working farm in the rolling countryside on the North wales ,Cheshire and the Shropshire border. With the beautiful views of the welsh hills and the Cheshire plain. We have lots of local attractions for you to visit like Chester Zoo, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Bewilderwood Amusement park, Snowdon. If you love water sports then Alderford lake is for you and local to us. There is so much more to do. The space The Haybarn is a beautiful 4 bedroom barn with the original old beams, stunning interior and unique round windows. This 4* accommodation is comfortable, luxurious and sleeps 7 people with a fully equipped kitchen and a large island, separate dinning area, 2 bathrooms, a shower downstairs and bathroom with bath upstairs. The Haybarn has a private enclosed garden with BBQ. We provide you with towels, toilet roll, washing up liquid, shower gel, hand wash, kitchen roll, salt and pepper, tea bags, coffee and milk ready for your arrival. We are located in a quiet rural area on a farm and only 2 miles from the idyllic village of Bangor-On-Dee set on the River Dee. Bangor-On-Dee has 1 pub The Buck. The Middle shop in the village sell most essential. The Haybarn is a great place to catch up with family and friends while visiting local attractions like Bangor-On-Dee races, the roman walls in Chester, or are now famous Wrexham FC . If you are traveling on business the Haybarn is ideal its home from home with all the comforts you need. We offer long stays. We are located close to the A525 which gives you easy access to Chester, Shropshire and Wrexham. If you love shopping Broughton shopping centre and Cheshire Oaks are great places to shop and not far away. If you fancy a day at the coast then Rhyl is only an hours drive away. Llandudno has a lovely theatre.
